The by touching a book, tablet, file, memory log, etc the user is able to learn and remember every detail of contents within the item. They can store it in their memory and easily recite it from their heart when they need. They are able to transfer that information they take onto someone else by touching their head to the others, whether that's by touching foreheads, kissing, etc.
Drawbacks: if they take in too much information from too many things their mind will overload and forget whatever is the oldest memory or information the user has. This can lead to the user forgetting who they are or their friends and family or memories they have with people and places.
