It was raining heavily. And Taehyung, couldn't calm down.

even though he was hugging Yeontan he still couldn't calm down.

he flinched when his phone started ringing.

he shakily picked it up and went back to hiding inside the blankets.

he wiped his tears and tried his best to calm himself down.

"hello?"

"taehyungie!"

"a-ah jung-k-ookie..!"

taehyung smiled a bit.

"do you wanna hangout? i mean the hyungs are here."

"i- i can't.."

"why not?"

"i-it's j-ju-st that.. AH!"

taehyung let the phone slip out of his hand because of the thunder.

"taetae? you okay there?" taehyung immediately hang up.

he texted jungkook very slowly, slowly recovering from the incident.

he replied with a sorry and said that he had some things to do.

but taehyung kept on mumbling jungkook's name over and over.

tears kept on rolling down on taehyung's cheeks wetting his pillow.

Yeontan licked Taehyung's cheeks in attempt to cheer him up a bit and Taehyung did smile a bit.

taehyung was about to fall asleep but everytime there was thunder he would just shot up, scaring Yeontan.

there was a knock 20 minutes later. he was having a breakdown and he couldn't stop it easily.

"taehyung?" a faint voice was heard from outside of his door.

taehyung wiped his tears harshly on his sleeves. he saw Yeontan barking at his door wagging his tail.

"j-jung-kookie! what are yo-u do-doing here?"  taehyung stood up and walked towards the door.

"i just wanted to check you.?"

"h-hold on!"

he ran to his mirror and applied makeup all over his face just to cover up his puffy cheeks and his swollen eyes.

he made sure it looked natural.

he smiled at himself at the mirror and unlocked the door.

"oh gosh, i'm glad you're okay!" jungkook hugged taehyung.

taehyung hugged back not wanting to let go.

they eventually let go of each other and cuddled each other in the sheets.

"ah well i was- AH!" again, another thunder and lightning, taehyung covered his ears and controlled his tears from falling down.

jungkook hugged taehyung.

"hey taetae, baby you alright?" taehyung nodded biting his lip.

"i didn't know you were afraid of the rain and thunders baby.." jungkook pecked taehyung's lips.

"w-what no i-'m n-not..!" taehyung mumbled.

he couldn't control his tears and so he sobbed loudly.

jungkook could see the makeup getting wiped out and it revealed everything, hsi puffy cheeks, his swollen red eyes and eye bugs/bags.

"what type of cheap makeup did you use babe?" jungkook chuckled, in an attempt to cheer taehyung.

he whispered sweet words to taehyung making taehyung calm down step by step..

"thank you j-jungko-ok-"

"sh, sleep with me love.."

and so they both fell asleep in each other's embrace loving each other's warmth.
