"how the fuck have you not at least kissed him yet." brynn yells at me

"shut the fuck up my sisters home headass."

"oops sorry"

"and to answer your question i have no idea how he feels about me brynn. he could just be playing with my emotions and i don't want to read into the things" i say my mood suddenly saddening

"oh cut the crap KZ he's in love with you. i barely know the guy but i can tell." brynn coos as i sit there rolling my eyes

"fuck we're gonna be late" i scream at her as i grab my school things

brynn and i are neighbors so everyday before school she climbs through my window and i drive her.

our rooms are right across from eachother which is a major reason as to why we are so close.

i walk into school as my phone pings and i open it to find a text form johnny

johnny:
meet me by my locker before first

kenzie:

kenzie smiled as she read the text and said goodbye to her friends then waltzed off in the direction of johnnys locker.

"hello there vincent" she says approaching him

he slips in phone in his pocket and looks up smirking

"don't you ever call me that again mackenzis" he chuckles

"wow i'm sorry mr.orlandhoe" i tease back cashing the boy to roll his eyes

"anyways you ready to go?" he asks extending a hand

"go where exactly?" i question him which yet again causes him to chuckle

"it's friday, going to school on friday is pointless. skip with me"

"i can't" i reply sternly "if my mother found out i wouldn't ever breathe again."

"come on if she finds out just make up an excuse." he begs

i mean my mom didn't really notice me that much. i thought. and she was never home to scold me.

"ok fine. but never again." i agree and he smiles like a little kid picking me up into a large bear hug

"yess we are gonna have a so much fun" he whispers

a few girls stop what they're doing in the halls to stare at us. i was confused at first but then i remembered. i was being hugged by the most wanted boy in the entire school.

"ok let's get outta here i hate getting stared at" i joke and he grabs my hand leading me to his car

"so where are we going?" i ask him once we pulled out of the parking lot

he looks at me then back to the road smiling

"you'll see soon princess." he laughs and before i have time to object the nickname he turns up the radio smirking.

i slightly roll down the window reaching my hand out the crack feeling the cool air on my hands and face.

everything about car rides were peaceful to me. the bright green trees that turn into blobs the faster you go. the hot sun beating through the glass windshield. but the thing i like most about this car ride was the person i was sharing it with

i stared at him longingly as he drive bopping his thumbs to the tune of the radio.

i admired his beauty and smiled every time he would sing.

"what're i looking at princess" he jokes and i roll my eyes

way to ruin the mood kid

"you have a really good voice" is all i manage to say before the car comes to a stop

"we're here." he hums

"wow"
