NARRATOR POV
"come on slow pokes!" hayden yells honking the horn loudly
slowly but surely kenzie, johnny, lauren, brynn, carson, annie, and joey all make their way out of the house one by one and hop into hayden's large van.
"ok guys before we make our way to the airport, i invited another friend to come with us" hayden announces and everyone in the car groans
"oh come on guys you will love him! he fits in with us really well. his name is isaak presley" at that moment kenzies face turned pale and chills were sent down her body. to say the least, kenzie has a history with Isaak, and it wasn't a very good one.
"hey you ok mamas?" john whispers to her noticing the change in his girlfriends attitude.
"uh yea i'm fine just kinda tired"
just then the van comes to a holt and isaak comes running out throwing is luggage in the back and climbing in the car. his eyes scan the people slowly when they finally fall on something. more like someone. kenzie. a smirk tugs at his lips and he shoves lauren over sitting in between her and kenzie.
"hey guys who's ready to have some fun!" he exclaims in a fake way and everybody groans subtly rolling their eyes
JOHN IS A SALMON

like when he first got in the car he looked at kenzie and started to smirk

john:
it's not your fault it's just that we weren't expecting it

after 50 minutes of driving the group made it to the airport
"wake up princess we're here" johnny says shaking mackenzie a little
"mackenzie wake up" isaak said in a sing songy tone earning a death glare from john
"i'm up i'm up" she said rubbing her eyes
once they got through security, checked their bags, and scanned their tickets the friends stood in front of the plane waiting to board.
"ok guys we have the three rows towards the back and you will be sitting with one other person" hayden announces as everyone walked into the plane
lauren sat next to joey, annie next to hayden, brynn next to carson, and kenzie next to johnny. leaving isaak all alone, and mad.
he glared at mackenzie and johnny all coupled up as she rested her head on his shoulder and he lowered his head onto hers both closing their eyes.
isaaks angry thoughts were quickly interrupted when the pilot announced that they would be taking off.
once up in the air almost everyone on the plane were either napping, or drawing, or reading, all finding things to pass the time quickly.
as for kenzie and johnny, they slept the whole time.
AT THE AIR B AND B
"ok everyone this is where we will be staying for the next week! there's a hot tub in the back and the beach is right across the street. the event we need to help at won't be for another couple of days so until then we can just relax. as for rooms, there are only 6 rooms so most of us will have to share!" hayden announces and everyone begins to pick sleeping partners
"i wanna room with carson" brynn yells exchanging a look with him
"i'll room with annie" lauren says looking at her best friend smiling, annie had something with hayden but it wasn't official and she didn't want to push boundaries.
"i'm gonna room with kenzie" the entire room goes silent as they all stare at the person who was just talking, expecting it to be johnny, everybody's stomach twists when they see isaak smirking and staring at kenzie.
"no absolutely not i'm rooming with johnny" she half whispers sounding scared and confused
"aww what a party pooper" he says reaching to push her hair behind her ear when she slaps his hand away, taking johnnys hand and running upstairs
the rest of the group was still downstairs shook that isaak had the audacity to do that. no one spoke. no one knew what to say. that was until carson cleared his throat and said
"yo man what the fuck is your problem. you know she has a boyfriends who she loves are you trying to objectify her?" he asks walking towards isaak
"oh come on it's obvious she wants me" he scoffs walking away
brynn was fuming. her face was red and she was breathing heavily. no one ever talks about her best friend like that. without even thinking she runs after to the boy and jumps on his back knocking them both to the floor. she lifts her fist up and swiftly punches him in the face then stands up and kicks him in the balls.
"don't you ever touch her again" she spits walking away proudly towards her and carson's room
"i told you my senses are never off" she says rolling her eyes at hayden who is standing there ashamed that he didn't realize the red flags sooner
