"Princess ?"
I turned around to see Chat looking at me . Sadness , worry , and anger in his eyes .
"C-Chat ... i-"
"No . There's no excuses . We'll talk about this later . Goodnight Marinette ." He said coldly and then left . I felt tears sting my eyes and just let them out . I slid against the bathroom wall and balled my eyes out . I'm such a mistake ! Why would anyone want me . Adrien doesn't , Chat doesn't . Why can't I just die .
Chat Noir's POV
Once I made it to my window , I jumped into my room and released my transformation . How could Mari do that to herself ! I thought we had no secrets . "Kid , don't you think you were a little too hard on her ? You never know how she's feeling inside ." I'm super surprised Plagg is giving advice that doesn't relate to cheese . I've never seen this side of him . He must really care about Mari . "I guess I was ... but I was upset Plagg ! She harmed herself ! I wasn't even there to make sure she was okay ! God , i'm such an idiot ."
"I can't disagree with you"
Of course he would say that .
"But try checking up on her as Adrien tomorrow ." He continued .
"Alright , night Plagg ." I said before getting in bed and drifting into a peaceful sleep .
~TIME SKIP - TOMORROW MORNING AT SCHOOL~
Marinette's POV
I walked into school feeling horrible . I went into the locker room holding back tears . I can't stop thinking about Chat .
"Marinette , are you okay ?" I hear someone ask . I turned around to see a concerned Adrien looking down at me . "I ... I ..." I then broke down into a fit of sobs " Adrien pulled me into a hug and whispered , "Its okay , let it all out" I cried into his chest . "I ... I lost him ...." I said . He pulled away and looked into my eyes . "Lost who ...? " He questioned .
"Chat Noir .."
