Lisa's POV
Knock! Knock! The loud pounds caused me to wake with a start. Who the hell would be at my door at this time of day? No one even cares about me anymore..not even Chaeyoung.
"Aish, get over it, Manoban. It's her fault anyways. Not yours." I quickly brushed my hair and wiped off some drool dripping down from the corner of my lips before approaching the door. The person grew impatient and banged against the wooden door once more, with more power this time.
"Jesus! I'm coming, just wait!" I replied. I opened the door lazily and glared at the person automatically.
"What do you w-" My eyes widened as I saw Rosé standing infront of me, bloodshot eyes and large dark circles underneath them. Her hair looked as if it hadn't been washed for months and her white hoodie was covered in mysterious stains. Her jeans were ragged and muddy, along with the ancient sneakers she wore with the outfit. In a nutshell, she was a complete mess.
"Chaeyoung?! What happened to you?" I asked her, holding back my laughter from her messy state.
"I know this is a bad time but, we need to talk." Her voice was gruffy and coarse, the complete opposite of her normal voice.
"Why? Why not talk about it with your new buddy, huh?" Even though I sounded as if I didn't miss her, I really did. She was the only true friend I had met in years. All the others either left me or used me for their own pleasures. Rosé actually enjoyed my company. We clicked instantly like magnets. We were known as 'The Inseparable Duo' as we never left each other's side. However, after our foolish argument, Rosé and her new friend were that duo. The duo that had an unbreakable bond. It broke my heart even more to see them together, laughing and chatting away while I watched from the sidelines, wondering what had happened for things to suddenly change.
"U-Um, I can't..." Rosé stuttered. Did something happen between them? I swear to God (A/N God Jihyo) if they dwarf hurt my Chae- oh wait. Why should I care? She didn't care that I was isolated for how long after our argument. She didn't care about my feelings. So why should I?
"Why? Oh, let me guess. You want to be friends with me again so you can humiliate me? Ha! Nice try. I'm not becoming your friend again."
"Lisa please-"
"You're going to make me look like a loner? Embarrass me infront of everyone? How pathetic."
"L-Lis-"
"What? You think I'm stupid? I've experienced this so many times in my life. I'm practically immune to it now. Don't think you can-"
"LALISA MANOBAN CAN YOU FUCKING SHUT UP FOR ONE GODDAMN SECOND AND LISTEN TO ME?!" Oh no. I made her angry. When Rosé is angry, oh boy, you don't want to mess with her. She'll rip you apart with her bare hands in a split second if you push her to her limits. Felling quite apprehensive, I stepped back and shut my mouth, making sure I don't open it when I'm not supposed to in case I am slaughtered.
"Thank you. The reason I c-can't talk to Chaeyoung is b-b-because she uh, um, she..." I tapped my feet against the floor, waiting for an answer.
"She what? Hurry up, you're wasting my t-"
"SHE'S GONE! SHE'S GONE OK? Don't have to be such a FUCKING ASSHOLE about it!"
My entire body temporarily froze. Tears of frustration and grief spilled from her eyes. Shit. I went too far didn't I? I wanted to hug her, comfort her, let her know that I missed her after all that time. That just couldn't happen though. I had to be cold towards her. Make her feel the excruciating pain I felt."She left you, am I right? Ha! That's how I felt when you left me for that dwarf bitch. You deserve it. That's how I felt. Gradually crumbling from the inside, no one to comfort me. No one to shelter me from the harsh reality of this world. You deserve it."
Rosé stared at me, melancholy and a hint of infuriation burning in her pupils.
