Chapter 19

Griffin's Pov: The knock on the door ended up being Kevin, Harrison and a very shy Sam.

Sam hid himself behind the two boys who looked around the room then to me sheepishly.

"You got a full house this evening I see" Kevin says

"Yeah Noen had to go out but chase has been super easy" I tell them

"I hate to ask and it's perfectly okay to say no since you already have two littles but we were hoping you would watch Sam so we could go on a date we haven't really had any alone time lately" Harrison says sheepishly rubbing the back of his head

"Eh what's one more" Tayler says coming up behind me

"Really are you sure" Kevin ask

"Yeah of course" I tell them with a smile

Harrison manages to get Sam out from behind him the poor little looks so frightened he's clutching a teddy bear to his chest like it's gonna protect him.

"All he has is the bear he's usually super giggly and playful with us but anywhere near other people he's been super shy soo hopefully this will be a good way to get him out of his shell" Kevin tells us

"I'm sure we'll have a great time" Tayler says giving Sam a big smile

Harrison puts is hands on Sams shoulders making the little look at him

"Buddy Tayler and Griffin are gonna watch you for awhile okay? Bubba and Kevie will be back soon" he tells him kissing his forehead

I take little Sams hand and guide him awhile from the older boys while Tayler walks them out.

Tears start to well up in Sams eyes and when Tayler comes back into the room Sam looses it. His lip quivers and fat crocodile tears roll down his cheeks. He tries to go for the door but Tayler catches him scooping the crying boy up into his arms.

Sams long legs awkwardly wrap around Taylers waist but Tayler doesn't mind he gently bounces Sam rubbing his back and reassuring him that his brother will be back soon.

I look over at Payton and Chase to check on them. Chase is happily showing Jaden and Anthony his picture of a car but Payton is looking at Tayler holding Sam.

I walk over to Payton

"Hey baby whatcha coloring?" I ask him

He just shrugs at me still looking at Tayler

"Want dada" he mumbles finally looking at me

"Dada is trying to make sure Sam is okay so how about we hangout together" I tell him

He just looks at me and shrugs going back to coloring his picture

"Can I color with you baby" I ask him But he shakes his head

I sigh and stand and move back to Tayler. Sam has calmed down some and him and Tayler are talking quietly to eachother.

"Really your bubba got you your bear that's really nice of him" Tayler says to him earning a shy smile from Sam.

Tayler looks up at me before asking

"Sam would you sit with Griffin for just a minute" Tayler says

Sam looks at me unsure for second before nodding I move to take the boy from him and settle him in my lap

"Thank you I have to pee so bad" Tayler tells me running off to the bathroom.

I bounce Sam on my knee finally earning a smile from the shy boy. The smile turns into giggles and as Tayler comes back we have a happy little on our hands soon he's excitedly telling us about his day.
