chan and i had gotten in through a window and we surveyed the area to make sure it was safe.
no one was around so we were good to go.
i looked around, marveling at how pretty everything looked at night.
chan stood beside me and asked, "what are you thinking about?"
i turned to him, i did say i wanted to make a move...
would i wait?
should i do it now?
"thanks for bringing me hyung." i decided on saying.
"no problem." he smiled.
i looked around, "i dont know where to start."
"what excites you most?"
"the stars." i shyly responded.
"then lets look for that, whatever excites you."
i smiled, "i have an idea."
i jumped off my seat and ran to the "a section". chan jogged after me asking, "what are you looking for?"
"aurora." i mumbled.
"jeongin, huh? what are you saying?"
i let my eyes scan the books rapidly and my eyes fell over the ladder.
i moved towards the ladder and chan shouted, "no you dont!"
i was thrown over his shoulder and i writhed around, shouting, "why!"
"ill get it." he told me.
i pouted and asked, "can you get me down now you big ol' meanie."
"if i let you down, will you go running for the ladder?" he asked.
"i might but ill get dizzy if you continue to keep me up."
he set me down and said, "thats a valid point. i let you down only because of that."
"im looking for a book on the aurora borealis." i told him.
he went and searched for it and in using the ladder, found it.
after finding it, he handed it to me and climbed back down from the ladder.
"do your research kid."
i sat on the floor, looking over the book he got me.
"auroras are caused by a disturbance in the magnetosphere caused by solar wind. the disturbances are strong enough to alter the trajectories of charged particles in both solar wind and magnetospheric plasma. these particles, consisting of mainly electrons and protons, precipitate into the upper atmosphere." i read out.
chan watched me, smiling widely and i continued.
"which results in the light of varying color and complexity."
"what do you like about the stars so much?" he asked me randomly.
"they hold whatever you want them too."
"like?" he asked.
"your dreams, your wishes, your past and current self."
"so youre a dreamer?"
"shouldnt all of us be?"
"define." he asked.
"when you dream, you want and when you want, you push for something and when you push for something, you get it. i told myself i want to keep living and i havent stopped fighting ever since."
he stopped, eyeing me with a unreadable expression before he came close and grabbed my hand holding it in his.
"im glad youre here jeongin."
i blushed, "im glad the stars brought me to you." i responded back.
