Chapter 9

Kion: ARGGH!

Fuli was watching Kion but she looked annoyed at his yelling.

Kion: Kanari, Rani mentioned someone named Kanari.

Fuli: Maybe this is a different Kanari?

Kion: no...No, NO

Fuli shrugged and she started to clean herself.

Fuli: Why don't you go ask him?

Kion: Why should I If I already know it's HIM?

Fuli: KION, just ask him.

Kion looked at Fuli surprised. Then he nodded and headed over to were Kanari was put. He entered the cave. He walked around until he found Kanari. He was being checked on.

Kanari: Nah, no pain.

Makini: No pain? 

Kanari: Well, yesterday yes. But today no.

Makini: Well ok.

Kion walked in and Makini bowed her head.

Kion: No need to bow Makini.

She looked up and smiled. Then she went out the door.

Makini: I'll be back to check on you later Kanari.

Kanari: OK!

Then he looked at Kion.

Kanari: Man, she is a nice person.

Kion: As nice as an old friend?

Kanari: Friend? OH MY GOODNESS! Were you an old friend of mine?! I'm sorry I didn't notice.

Kion: No, no, Um. Not me. A female friend.

Kanari: Female friend? The only friend-

Kion stared at Kanari.

Kanari: RANI! IS SHE HERE!?

Kion: No, she went away.

Kanari: Oh, ok then.

Kion: So she was your friend?

Kanari: Of course she was.

Kion nodded and turned around.

Kanari: Kion? Um, did Rani ever mention me?

Kion: Yes, that's how I know it was you who was her friend.

Kion continued out. He wasn't mad anymore. But why was he mad in the first place? It didn't matter to him. He had Fuli. And she was all he needed. He felt bad now because he remembered all that he's done to Fuli. He shook it off. He walked out of the cave. He looked around. He could see Fuli running with her brother. He saw how happy they were. Fuli finally found her family. He continued to look around and spotted Anga and Ono in the skies. Then he saw Beshtie and Bunga in the Oasis. He thought to himself. This is the only family I have. He felt happy. He ran towards Beshtie and Bunga and splashed with them. After awhile Fuli was there lying down watching and Anga sitting on a tree branch while Ono tried to catch some fish(just for fun, he put them back).

Kanari: HEY GUYS!

Kanari jumped in.

Bunga: Oh, hey Kanari.

Beshtie: Hello.

Kion: I missed these times.

The pride looked at him and smiled.

Kion: To the tree of life's end,

Pride: Night pride defends.

Then they continued to splash around and have a good time.
