Kion woke up to the nice touch of sunshine. The warmness felt good on his wounds. He walked outside and saw the Pride playing. Fuli was playing with her brother Haionekani. He smiled. And his head started to hurt. An image went through his mind. Kion was sitting on a rock. But he looked older(Not too old). Kion was an adult. Then he felt a tug on his tail. He turned and smiled. It was a cub. But Kion knew it was his cub. And this cub was not a lion nor cheetah. It was both. Then the image disappeared and he forgot. Only the image of that cub was left. Then he noticed Fuli smiling. And she walked gracefully towards him.
Fuli: I'm glad that's over.
Kion smiled.
Kion: Yeah, me too.
Kion then knelt down in front of Fuli. She still looked confused.
Kion: Fuli, will you be my mate?
Fuli looked surprised. Then smiled.
Fuli: Yes, I'd love to.
-----(Next Day)----
Fuli stood in the tree waiting for her name to be announced. Kion had asked her to be his mate. She was excited but she thought she was probably not good enough. But she knew that Kion thinks she is so. She smiled when she heard her name.
Makini: Are you ready Fuli?
Fuli took a deep breath.
Fuli: Yes
Fuli walked out and Kion was there. He smiled and she stood next to him.
Kion: I know I have caused Fuli some trouble in the past-
Fuli: But I forgive him
Kion looked at her and smiled.
Kion: And I asked her to be my mate. She said yes. So today...
Makini: Will be the wedding and crowning of Fuli.
Everyone cheered. First was the wedding and Fuli and Kion were both nervous. (Especially when it came to the You-may-Kiss-the-bride part). But they did it anyway. When Kion and Fuli were separate from each other for a moment. Haraka pulled Kion aside.
Haraka: Kion,
Kion: Haraka, nice to see you.
Haraka nodded. Then frowned.
Kion: What is it?
Haraka: I just want to make sure you will take extra good care of Fuli.
Kion: Yeah, I promise Haraka. I promise.
Haraka: Thank you. Now enjoy the rest of the night!
Kion: Thank you! Oh, you too.
The next day was the crowning Fuli as Queen. Kion and Fuli stood in front of each other. They had big smiling faces. Then Makini stood in front of then with blue paint.
Makini: Ooo, today is the crowning of Fuli as queen!
She walked in between Kion and Fuli.
Makini: I hope you two are happy together.
Makini whispered.
Fuli: Thank you Makini
Makini smiled and drew the line on Fuli's head meaning she is the queen. Kion had the same blue mark but as a V shape. Then Makini faced the crowd.
Makini: Our new Queen..... Queen Fuli!
Everyone cheered. Even Rani (who was now with Kanari). Kion smiled and kissed Fuli.
----(2 hours later)----
Kion took Fuli somewhere.
Fuli: where are we going?
Kion: Here.
Kion stopped and it had been the same oasis Giza took Fuli.
Fuli: Oh,
Fuli tried to act so amazedly and she had never seen that place.
Fuli: It's beautiful
Kion: Is something wrong?
Fuli: No, no it's just that,
Kion stayed silent and looked at her.
Fuli: It's just that I never thought we would actually be together.
Kion smirked.
Kion: Fuli
Fuli: Yeah
Kion: I love you
Fuli: I love you too.
Kion and Fuli talked for the rest of the night.
Fuli: Look, those cubs were safe from the war.
Kion: Yeah
Fuli: Hmm, I would love to have a family. With cubs.
Kion got stiff.
Kion: Uhh, yeah, sure.
He got sweaty.
Fuli smiled noticing Kion get so stiff.
Fuli: Kion-
Kion: Yeah!
Fuli: C'mon
Fuli walked towards the tree. Kion slowly followed. Oh no...
