I cannot seem to fall asleep tonight,
Just tossing and turning left and right.
Thinking of nothing as I lay there,
While undoing knots in my hair.
I try to dream of something, anything,
While in despair of what time may bring.
Night time seems to be taking forever,
Should I go to sleep now, or never?
Into the empty dark I'm left staring,
Sad thoughts leave my eyes tearing.
