As he steps back to go back to his desk, I nervously look down and then leave the room.

I hurry back towards my office and collect the work I did last night, then head straight to my boss's office again.

"Here it is, Mister Jeon," I lay the papers right before him on his desk, standing on my spot to face him but only see his eyes staring at me. "Mister Jeon..." he mumbles with a smirk, surely enjoying the way I'm still calling him by obligation. "Uh. Baby," a sigh runs out of his mouth as he eventually lands his attention on the work I provided him.

"You got me mad this morning," he speaks out again, never shutting his mouth while giving the once-over to the sketches and notes. "Really fucking mad," his eyes shoot up to mine.

My heart skips a beat, and my blood freezes through my veins. "What did I do?" I inquire, puzzled.

"The issue is, you didn't do anything, Miss Han," his veiny hands let go of the pages, his steady and intimidating stare taking my breath away. I intertwine my hands behind my back and remain still, no matter how stressed I am from the inside. "I told you to come with some good work this morning, and I haven't seen you just once this morning."

As I cannot get anything out of my mouth, he stands up. He takes his glasses off and comes up to me, his hands in his pockets. "Why is that? Hm? Did you want to ignore me again?"

"No, I just thought you'd call me first. I didn't know, I promise," I tell him the truth. He stands before me. "You thought," he emphasizes. I nod, confirming I did not do this on purpose. He stares without saying anything, acting like he is expecting something.

"So, you're not gonna apologize or try to make it up?" he asks. I stand on my tiptoes and press a kiss on his lips. "I'm sorry, Mister Jeon."

A soft smile he could not hide appears on his face for a brief second before he erases it. "I hope you have a better way to apologize because it's clearly not enough."

I do the same and lock lips with him once more, this time with more passion. He kisses me back, returning as much, if not more, ardor. Not resisting the urge to touch me, he holds the side of my face without pulling away.

I break the kiss myself and smile at him. "I apologize again, Mister Jeon."

This time, he does not hide the way this makes him feel. He smiles back at me, his eyes filled with warmth and affection. "Good, it's better," he slides his hand back in his pocket and licks his lips. He seems pretty silent today.

He stares into my eyes, and I can see a hint of vulnerability behind his usual confident facade. As he stands there, I can't help but wonder what thoughts are running through his mind.

I kiss him again, feeling like I should do something. "Are you still mad?"

"I'm not," he replies with a smile. "Go back to your office; I need to focus," he presses his lips together and returns to his desk, not behaving as usual. "Did you call me just for this?"

"Yeah, it's disrespectful of you not to kiss your boss good morning," he grins and puts his glasses back on. I laugh and get closer to him as he took my work back in his hands. "I'll be a better employee next time. I'm sorry."

"You better. You're my favorite one; I wouldn't want you to disappoint me," he keeps his eyes on me, not going back to work. "I won't. You know I only want to make you proud."

"Yeah, I do know," he licks his lips again, peeking down at mine. "So go back to work now. Make me proud again."

The right words used are enough to make me listen. "Alright. See you later, Mister Jeon," I bend over his desk and kiss him before heading back to my own office.
