Part 17

2Cole's POV:

(they are kissing on the bedroom and Ella is in the living room)

E-"Mommy! Daddy! I am hungry can we go eat?"

C-"We were just about to go."

E-"Is moma coming with us?"

I looked at Lili, I could see her heart eyes she had had for me for so long that were now exposed.

L-"Yes"

We headed to the keg, which is a steakhouse that I really like near my apartment. We went there and ate lunch, I was always trying to not look into Lili's eyes and kept making conversation with Tess and Chloe, Lili's sisters. We went to a park after lunch but I had to leave cause I had to record some voice overs for Riverdale and was alone for the night. I kept overthinking the kiss we had and so I distracted myself with going through the photos of Ella I had taken today. I did not need to edit anything cause she is perfect and the only thing I did was playing around with the leaves on the background and their colors. I cleaned up the house and had a shower, taking my mind off her.

Lili's pov:

I was not able to get my mind off him and how we kissed earlier, I really liked him but co-stars can't date cause it can bring a negative impact to the show. I had to talk to him about it tomorrow cause I wasn't gonna let myself get excited about us when we could not work. When he came to pick up Ella in the afternoon, I decided to talk to him in private about it.

L-"Hi Cole, before you take Ella, mind if I have a word with you in private?"

He nodded, smiling and as soon as I closed the bedroom door, his lips met mine and all that I had been rehearsing to say was lost in one action.

L-"Cole?"

I pulled away from him and he looked worried.

L-"We can't do this, we both know Roberto would kill us if he found out."

C-"But what if he doesn't find out?"

L-"I'm sorry Cole..."

He looked terrified and a single tear fell down my eye, I was feeling guilty but with the coming of my family and stuff, it would be easy to forget I think. He left the room and got Ella. He left without saying anything and I could see his eyes were watering, he looked tougher than he was.

Cole's POV:

As soon as I stepped inside the car, tears kept sliding down my eyes.

E-"Why are you crying, Dada?"

C-"Well because I am sad"

E-"Why are you sad?"

C-"let's save the questions for another time Ella-bear"

E-"Okay dad, Do you need a hug?"

I did not answer. I stopped crying and got myself back to normal. I had to get myself busy as soon as I could cause it was the only way that I could make everything go away. When I got home I started working on some photos I had taken a few months ago that needed a bunch of editing to be perfect. Ella was in her room playing with the dolls her aunts had bought for her. When I got out of the room for some water I decided to check on Ella. She was asleep on the floor, Shoot I had forgotten she needed a nap as soon as we got home. I put her down in her bed and I went back to work. The next few days were pretty stressful, I was full of photoshoots and had to pack for New York that was next week. I had no idea what to get for Ella, I had some of her clothes and toys but I was missing everything else. If only I could ask Lili about it... no. I am not going to open that closed door, I had finally gotten over her and it would be impossible to go back. I read a bunch of articles about how to pack with kids and I followed what that said. When the day came, I was super prepared to fly with her to New York. I took some snacks and toys in my backpack and decided against bringing a carry-on suitcase like I usually do. We dropped off our big suitcase and headed to security. I'm not gonna lie, it was really hard to keep Ella from running away while we were on the line and as soon as we got there I had to take Ella's shoes off and she refused to put them on after that. Ella would not let go of me when I was being checked and I now have a different respect for those parents that block the line. They used to make me very angry and I would not understand why they took so long to go through security, but now, I was that person. I had my 2-year-old child, running wild through the airport with no shoes on and me chasing her with her shoes on my hand. I regret not bringing her stroller a lot. There was a kid area near out gate so she could run wild before having to be stuck in a seat for a long time. I had booked this flight so that it was right after Ella's nap time and the beginning of bedtime. Well, nap time was pretty good but not so much the hours after, where she had to run off all her energy before sleeping again. This lead to us walking around the narrow and small corridors of the airplane a couple of times. She also climbed on the seats and jumped and was just that annoying kid that kept everyone from doing anything cause they are just always making noise. I was also trying to keep her the most private I could cause if someone recognized me with Lili's daughter that would just fire a bunch of rumors and stuff which was what I was avoiding. Thankfully, only a few people took photos with me which was really good. We had a direct flight and we got there at 11:23 pm, I took my time getting out of the bags and as soon as her car seat arrived I placed her in it for her to sleep better.

D-"Hey bro"

C-"Hi Dyl"

D-"Wow, you look bad with black hair"

C-"Wow. You look a whole lot fatter man."

D-"Yeah, try me, at least I got laid this week"

C-"Hey man, children here"

D-"Come on, she is asleep"

C-"And?"

D-"It's not like you and Lili never did anything while she was asleep."

C-"Bro, you are disgusting, and I and Lili are not together."

D-"Sure."

C-"How is it going at meltdown?"

D-"We lost a bunch of people in the last month but yesterday I got an extra table playing."

C-"I hope that one day Ella can go there, when she is older and buy a bunch of comics and stuff. It would kill me if it just closed."

D-"I mean, it is kinda far from closing"

C-"I hope"

We talked a Bunch on the ride to Dylan's apartment, which I shared with him up until Riverdale.

I think I am gonna do a two month time jump in the next part cause I don't feel like writing more boring stuff.

I know that this part is super boring but I promise it will get more interesting.
