chapter five

Next morning

Millie woke up. She got up and put some clothes on. She wanted to check her phone but then she rembered that she gave it away. She went to the kitchen where her father smiled at her.

"Why are you smiling like a fucking idiot?" she said annoyed.
"Language Millie! And I just wanted to wish you a great day" he said.
"You know that it will be awful, so don't even try.. Good bye" she said and left the house.

On her way to school she saw someone waving at her.

'Who the fuck is that' she thought.
But when she came nearer and she recognized it.
'I'm blind' she thought then.

It was Finn.
"Hey chicken nugget!" he said smiling.
"Ehm.. hey apple pie?"
"Sorry I'm in the mood for nicknames.. and I'm hungry."
"School starts soon why aren't you on your way to hell?"
"Well, I wanted to see you and ask you something." he said shyly.
"Yeah, I have to tell you something too.."
"Do you like Gaten in a romantic way?" Finn just said. He blushed and bit his tongue.

'I shouldn't have said that.. she won't answer anyways' he thought.

"No, why?" she said and laughed.
"I was just curious.. what did you want to say?"
"Ehm... I can- can't meet you anymore.. and I don't have a phone anymore too.." she said and immediately changed her mood.
"What? Why?"
"My parents knew that I was at your party and if I meet you I can't move out in 2 years." she explained.
"N-no but.." he started but Millie cut him off.
"Sorry, I have to go now"

She didn't want him to see her tears. He became a really close friend and she felt good for the first time in her life.

When she walked inside school she saw.. Kevin.

"Hey Millie!" he said.
"What do you want?" she said annoyed.
"Oh my.. are you okay.. did you cry?"
"Why are you still talking to me? Fuck off." she said and walked away.

First class was maths. She didn't hate maths but she was really bad at it.
Next period was physics. She hated it because it was boring and she never understood anything.
Next was English. That was the only subject she was good at. She also likes it because it was easy and interesting.

Lunch

At lunch she sat down, alone, and started to eat her food.
Suddenly Kevin showed up.
He sat down in front of her. Millie looked up and rolled her eyes.
'What does he want from me?' she asked herself.

"Wow, again you" she just said.
"Yeah. Millie.. I wanted to say sorry.. could we be.. friends?"
"I don't need friends like you, okay? And I'm not in the mood for existing, so just leave me alone."

He looked at her and walked away. It was sad for him but he knew that he shouldn't bother her.

After school

Millie couldn't go to smoke somewhere, so she just went back home and into her room. She took some drugs and put some music on.

Her parents didn't check on her but she was okay with it.

Evening

Millie walked outside the room to eat dinner.
She ate it with her parents but she didn't say anything.
After they almost finished her mom said
"How was school today, honey?"
"It was boring and it sucked, nothing new" she answered, ended dinner and went back to her room.

Her parents were sad because she was an only child and they never spend really time together.

11pm

Millie finished her homework, watched some Netflix and then she went to bed.
