chapter eleven

Next morning

After Millie's alarm rang 6 times, Millie woke up.
She went to bed really late and now she was late for school.

'Shit!' she thought.
She got ready as fast as she could and she just ate one toast with butter on it for breakfast.

When she arrived at school the lessons have already begun.

She knocked on the door and came in.
The teacher asked her why she came late and she explained it even though the reason wasn't a good reason.

When she sat down, she saw that Kevin was chuckling quitly.

After the lesson

"Hey Millie!" Gina shouted because she saw her for the first time that day.
"Hey G!" Millie shouted back.
"Let's eat lunch" Gina said and they went into the cafeteria.

They sat down at a table for six people and it looked weird because they were just two.

When Kevin entered the hall, Millie stood up.

"Where are you going, Million?"
Gina found 'Million' funny, so she called Millie that way.
"I want to talk to Kev"
"Ehh, ok"

Millie went to Kevin.
When he saw her his face showed the pain again.

"Why were you chuckling?" Millie asked.
"What do you mean?" Kevin didn't expect this question.
"When I was late, you were chuckling! Why was it so funny that I was late?!" she explained.
"Oh, you mean that. I just thought it was funny how the perfect girl came too late because of such a reason"
"Haha, really funny." she said and she couldn't help but chuckled.
"Oh, and I'm sorry for.. breaking your heart..? Are- are we cool now?"
"Yeah. Can I sit with you and that new girl?"
"Of course"

They walked to the table and couldn't believe what they saw.

Millie's mouth widened, when she saw Blake sitting next to Gina.

"Hey, I hope you aren't mad if he sits here." Gina said.
"N-o it's okay.." Millie didn't want to disappoint Gina, so she just said yes.

It was so weird but actually okay.
Everyone talked together and you could totally see that Gina only listened to Blake.

After lunch

"Gina, I'm so glad everything is fine with Kev now!" Millie said while the girls were walking to class together.
"Hmm.." she answered with her head in the clouds.
"Gina! Are you even listening?"
"Yeah, of course that's so cool" she answered still not really present.
"Oh my god. Blake messed up your mind reaaallllly hard.. I don't want to disappoint you but you know that he flirts with like.. every girl in school..? And you don't even know him."
"Yeah, I know but no risk no fun" she said and then they stopped talking because they wrote a class test in Biology.

After school

Millie went outside her school.
She checked her phone and saw a message from Sadie.

organ park.

Later at the park

"Sadieeeee!" Millie shouted when she saw the redhead.
"Milllllieeee, hiiii" Sadie shouted back.
"In the past two days so much happened!"
"Tell me!"

Millie told Sadie about Kevin, Gina and Blake.
Then they bought some chocolate and sat down under a tree just chilling.

"So, is Gina going to be a better friend than me?" Sadie said joking but also kind of meaning it.
"Nooo, you are the best"
"...And that's the tea" Sadie said and both laughed.

Then they went back home and nothing happened anymore.
