chapter fourteen

A few moments later

Millie ran into her house and straight into her room.
Her parents were home and she really didn't want to talk to them.

She started crying because she messed up. Again.
She was so afraid of getting hurt but then she hurt someone.

She wanted to talk to Sadie or Gina but then she stopped herself.

It was her fault, so she had to make it right again.

She ran outside again, hearing her parents shouting after her.

She ran into the honey cafe but he wasn't there.
She ran to his house but no one opened the door.
You can't judge him, she broke his heart. And his parents hated her.

Finn doesn't like to think about his feelings for her but he knew that he fell hard for her.
He wanted to forget her but he knew that it was impossible.

The next day at school

Millie came into school and sat down with a sad face.
„What's that sad face hoe? Maybe a drug dealer didn't want to sleep with you" a boy said.

She was clean for 2 weeks now and she couldn't understand why they now talked about her being a hoe. But she didn't care anymore.

When Gina entered the room, she ran to Millie and asked her what happened.
She explained everything because she really needed someone to talk to.

„Woah, that's messed up.." Gins said after a while of silence.
„I MESSED UP." Millie answered.
„You were just not clear thinking then. You should go apologize to him and tell him that you didn't want to run away like that, it was just too much for you.. and you have to tell him that you don't feel the same about him."
„That's the problem.. I-I think I like him back.."

Ginas mouth widened.

„You should tell me that! Then you can tell him that you feel the same! That's perfect"
„Gina, he'll think that I do this just because I feel guilty.."

After that Blake came into the room and walked to the girls.

„Hi baby" he said and kissed Gina.

„Enough Blake!" Gina chuckled.
„We have some girl problems, so can we meet later?"
„Sure babe" he said and walked away.

Now Millies mouth widened, and so did her eyes.

„You- you are dating BLAKE!?"
„Uhm yeah but I'll tell you another time about it.. let's talk about YOUR problem"

They talked a bit about it but then the teacher came in.

After school

Gina had to stay longer in school, so Millie went home alone. She didn't even see Kevin the whole day long.

She decided to go to the bench where she met Finn for the real first time.

When she arrived there, she saw someone sitting on it.

She came nearer. It was Finn.

„Finn, I have to tell you something"
„Leave me alone, Millie" hehe just answered.
„I just wanted to say that I'm sorry." she said shyly.
„I'm so stupid"
„Why?"
„Because even though you broke my heart I'm still happy you are here.. but now go"

Millie accepted his wish and went back home.
She wanted to tell him that she liked him but she couldn't. It wasn't the right moment.
