"And where do you think you're going miss?" I asked my mom.
"None of yo business."
"Well you my momma so it is my business."
"Guhh I'm goin somewhere whea you not goin."

"You get on my damn nerves you know that?" She asked and I nodded, grinning. I heard my phone ding and saw Kamari had texted me.
"I'm going on a date." She said and my head snapped up so fast.
"Huh?" I asked again just to make sure.
"Guh you heard me. Ian repeating myself."
"Who's the man?" I asked.
"Why you so nosey?"
"I just wanna know. Is he coming to pick you up? Does he know you have a daughter?" I asked.
"Yes, he's coming to pick me up and yes he does know."
"Aight aight." I said nodding.
"What?" She blank faced me.

"Amour ian gon repeat myself." She sternly said.
"It's just weird seeing you going out with someone else other than dad. It's always been you two."
"But you gotta understand that he's married, Amour. He's happy- well he thinks he's happy but I know he isn't. You know I can't do nun bout it, so please Amour I'm begging you, drop that topic, it's neva gon happen again." She rambled and I just nodded when she was done.
I walked out and went to my room, closing the door. I laid down on my bed and called my dad.
"Wassup blood." He answered on the second ring. This dude swear he a thug. He a wannabe gangbanger.
I smacked my teeth before replying. "Hey dad." I said softly.
"What's wrong? Whose ass I gotta beat?" He asked.
"Nah pops nobody did anything."
"So what's wrong?"
"Did you know mom's going onna date?" I asked and the line went dead for a few minutes.
"Uh nah, ian know. Who's the dude?" He asked.
"Ion know dad and ion like it. Why'd you cheat dad? We were all happy, what does your new wife have that mom doesn't?"

"I don't know, but she looked good though."
"When does she not ever look good?" He asked and I rolled my eyes.

I heard a knock on my door and my mom peeked in.
"I'm leaving."
"Aight have fun mama." I told her and got up, hugging her.
"Love you." She said.
"Love you too mama." I said and she left.
"Send me a picture of her." I heard my dad say from my phone and I busted out laughing.
"Boyyy bye."
"I love you Amour." He said.
"Love you too pops, I'll talk to you later."
"Aight." I hung up and sent him a picture of mama.
