Despite the horrible skool, the local hi-skool did two things right, it's sports and music program.The concerts were exceptional and a load of fun for everybody, even an earth hating alien boy and a paranormal investigator. In fact the two were at the first concert of the year and as a duet sang up in front the two swayed in the back holding hands, one resting on the aliens waist, another on the paranormal investigator's shoulder. They slow danced in time to the music blocking everything else out and just not worrying about a single thing.

Dib hated his summer job. Hated it. He had to wear a ridiculous pink dress with a white apron he grew to despise and worst of all, Gaz had dyed his coat pink. His good mystery coat. The only good things about the job were the pay and the people. There was Skoodge and Gaz, the only people there who were there by direct choice, Tak who was really only there to supervise and because she wanted more time with her girlfriend, and the ever annoying yet attractive Zim. Zim, Tak and Gaz worked waiting tables. Skoodge managed the whole thing and cooked the lovely sweets and drinks, and Dib manned the cashier. It sucked but the pay was phenomenal
