"What's wrong stink?" I asked Amora as she did her homework. Lani had gone home cuz she got a call from her mom telling her to come get her dad away from her doorstep.
When I heard that, I busted out laughing causing Lani to mug me. She said bye to Amora and grammy and came to mush my head before she left. She ain't even give me a hug.
"Nothing." She mumbled.
"Nah Amora don't be doin' that shit. I asked you a question so answer it."
"I don't have any friends. The girls at school thinks I'm weird." She said quietly.
"Who keep saying that?" I asked her.
"Her name is Kelsey but ion know why she talking wit her big ass looking like a damn oompa loompa." She said and I laughed.
"You don't gotta listen to whet theu say stink, they just hating cuz they jealous that you more pretty than they are, aight?" I said and she nodded.
I gave her a kiss on her forehead before telling her I loved her. I went to the living room seeing my grandma watching Maury.
"You always watching this shit." I said just to annoy her.
"Shut up. What yo dumbass want?" She asked.
"I can't just come hang with my favorite grammy?" I asked and she cut her eyes at me.
"Chie, I'm your ONLY grandma. The hell?" I just laughed.
"Just kidding ma, I'm goin' out wit Meech 'nem. I'll probably stay over at Lani's house once I'm done." I told her before getting up and giving her a kiss on her forehead.
I drove to Shoota's house, seeing them sitting on the porch, smoking.
"Wassup." I said and dapped them up.
"You not wit Lani t'day?" Shoota asked.
"Nah she got sum to handle at home." I told them and they nodded their head.
"Y'all find that nigga yet?" I asked and they shook their head.
"We close tho. He been wit us for a while so he know how we coming." Don said, shrugging.
"His ass betta hope ion catch him." I said as I looked at my glock, admiring it.
"Trigger happy ass." Shoota mumbled making the other two chuckle.

Meanwhile Leilani was busy at her house trying to resolve the issues between her parents. Both her parents were hardheaded. Her mom was more difficult though. Whenever someone does something as small as eating her food, she'll go off on them, not caring who it was.
Her dad on the other hand was more chill and laid back. He had a bad side that everyone rarely sees. Just know to never get on his bad side.
"Ma just let him in. He just wants to talk." Lani pleaded.
"Leilani Amour Dotson, tell your father to go home cuz ian opening that door." Her mom said.
"Ma why you being difficult? He just wants to talk." Lani whined.
"He can talk from outside." Her mom said nonchalantly.
Leilani headed to the window and saw her dad's car wasn't there anymore which meant he had left. She glared at her mom before storming upstairs to her room and slammed her door shut.
"DON'T BE SLAMMING MY DOOR AMOUR. YOUN PAY NO BILLS." Her mom yelled.
Lani wanted to yell back but she was scared she would get slapped. She called Kamari, hoping he would pick up, which he did on the first ring.
"Wassup pooh."
"Can you come over?" She asked quietly and he imma knew something was wrong.
"Yeah sure be there in 10."
"Ok." She said and hung up.
Kamari got there in exactly 10 minutes and brought with him some Chick-fil-a. He had bought a spicy deluxe meal for her and some chicken nuggets for himself since he wasn't that hungry. He also bought two oreo milkshakes.
"Hey pooh you ok?" He asked as he entered her room.
Her face lit up when she saw the Chick-fil-a bags in his hands. He could be sweet at times.
"Hea and you better eat that. I paid money for it." He joked.
"You wanna talk about it?" He asked and she motioned for him to wait for her to swallow her food.
She told him everything. From her parents not getting back together, to her mom being, in her own words, "a petty ass bitch" for no reason. She felt bad for her dad becuase she could tell he was sincere about wanting her back but her mom was just doing too much. In all reality, her mom was just scared to trust him again, afraid he'll break her heart again.
Kamari tried his best to comfort her cuz he's never done anything like this before. Probably a few times with Amora but that's it.
He stayed up with her until 12 AM when she decided to sleep. He looked over at her, loving the sight. She looked so cute without those bat wings that's always on her eyes. She also had a big ass bonnet on her head.
To say the least, Kamari knew he liked her, just didn't wanna admit it. He was scared to be honest. He didn't want this relationship to end up like the last one. But he knew Lani wouldn't do him like that. He trusted her and Kamari Ahmir Anthony doesn't trust no one.
