both me and nahmir rushed to the hospital to go see my mom

her cancer came back a few weeks ago and she hasn't been doing good at all .

once we stepped inside the elevator nahmir grabbed my hand sighing

we walked down a long hallways before seeing my dad outside of the door crying .

but he quickly whipped his tears smiling as we approached him

" hey david " i smiled giving him a hug

" hey toria " !

" how's everything ! how's the baby " !?

" everything's been really good " i lied

but i need him to know i was happy .

i slowly opened the door seeing my mom changing the channel to the tv

" hey ma " . mumbled walking inside

she smiled holding her arms out . she seemed okay from the looks of it

i rested my head on her shoulder hugging her tight

" i'm so sorry i haven't been to see you " .

she rubbed my back " it's okay you know " ..

i stood back up sitting in a chair next to her

" where's my bella b " ? she asked

" she's at melody's house " .

" aw you should've brought her i really wanted to see her " .

" i know but i just didn't want her to see you like.. this " .

i gave her a fake smiled wanting to have some energy that she'll really be okay

i heard nahmir and david walk back in the room as nahmir gave my mom a hug
