Trevor, Alucard, Sypha and yourself all stared down a room full of vampires. You couldn't help but notice that they were dressed in two separate uniforms, meanwhile a number of obviously important vampires stood behind them. Your gaze wandered the vampires, a new feeling of determination coming over you. You never expected to really get this far, to reach this point, but here you were. Facing down a entrance hall full of vampires was a far cry from back when you sat alone in a shack with nothing but a dog for company. Looking back on it, you had regretted nothing. If you were to die here, saving the world, then you were fine with that. To you, this felt like a proper way to die if that was your fate here. You had tried to do something right, not many can say the same.
Trevor used the morning star to kill one of the lesser vampires, making the vampire boil from the inside then explode. The rest of the vampires had stumbled back slightly, their mothers agape in fear. He did do what he said he would, terrify them.
Sypha set up a barrier type spell, creating a large wall of flame. It cut off most the vampires from, except a few who tried to use the pillars in the room to work around. That's where you came in, your gaze drifting from each side of Sypha's wall. When you spotted a vampire trying to creep around, you would fire an arrow at it. Your aim was perfect, your body fueled by adrenaline. A vampire would try to come around and attack Sypha, but you had been quicker. You fired an arrow at it, the arrow embedding itself under the helmet that the vampire wore and into the flesh of his neck. He then bubbled and exploded thanks to the magic on your bow.
Your dog had barked behind you, alerting you when a vampire got too close. He was excited, he had never seen so many vampires in one room before. "Sypha, let Buttons through." You called to her, which she nodded to. She had opened the wall of flame for just a moment, the dog charging through after. He made a good distraction and also mongered some fear when he latched himself to the throat of one of the vampires.
Alucard had gone over Sypha's wall of fire next, his sword ready. Suddenly he had turned into a large, white wolf. The sword was held in his mouth while he cut down vampires easily.
Once the lesser vampires were dealt with, Sypha lowered the wall. Alucard was fighting a vampire that had the ability to turn into smoke, making it hard to actually hit them. He was obviously struggling, so Sypha and you helped. The vampire had become a massive cloud of smoke, which Sypha then froze. Shortly after, you fired an arrow at it, the arrow shattering the ice. It broke into millions of tiny pieces, leaving behind a light mist and a mess of ice shards littered across the ground.
Other vampires in the room started to use their abilities to try and stop you all, but it all seemed no use. One women vampire covered in intricate jewelery and light clothing had focused on you. Her nails were long and ready to rip you to shreds. She rushed you but you jumped back quickly. There was a brief moment before she tried it again, swiping her nails forward. She was trying to slash you face, hoping to blind you at most. At one point you were too slow and she had grazed your cheek, leaving a stinging and sharp cut across your cheek.
You lifted up your bow to block her next attack, sending a swift kick to her stomach shortly after. She stumbled for a moment but easily shrugged it off, returning to her ruthless assault after. You used your bow as a shield, even managing to strike her with it a few times. 'I should invest in a knife or something like that...' You thought to yourself.
Suddenly, she was pulled away from you. She was trapped in a prison of chain, trying her best to get out of it while fear had been the only emotion shown in her gaze. In the blink of an eye, she had exploded. Trevor pulled his whip back after she was gone, giving you an odd look that you couldn't exactly place. It wasn't hatred like before, but rather more of acceptance and understanding. It made you smile slightly, but then you remembered what you were supposed to be doing.
