The second ending option, Alucard's ending.

The soft songs of birds made you smile, reminding you that the world was peaceful for the moment. You couldn't help my smile, unable to believe that you had actually all managed to kill Dracula. It seemed impossible days ago, but now it was done. The next scary part was to think about what comes next, you were unable to help but wonder if you'd go back to your lonely life. You had Buttons of course, but it's hard to hold a conversation with a dog unless you're insane.

Trevor had apologized to you for what he said, but now he was leaving with Sypha. They offered for you to go with them but something had kept you back, made you say no. You would love to run around with them and dive into trouble, but you couldn't help but worry about Alucard. You had once lived a lonely life, and now that seemed to be his fate for centuries.

After Trevor and Sypha said their goodbyes, Alucard approached you.

"You didn't want to join them?" He asked.

"I did... But I think I might go home, I don't know yet..." You said.

Alucard only nodded then went inside the castle, not wanting to question you about your choice. You watched him from the entrance, unable to hide your sympathy. You couldn't hear what he was saying, he was mumbling to himself. What made your chest hurt, was when you saw him cry. You followed him inside then kneeled infront of him when he sat in a chair, tears falling down his pale skin. You caught him off guard, he didn't expect you to follow him but nevertheless, here you were.

"{Y/n}... You should leave while it's bright out." He mumbled.

"I wanted to ask you something..." You said then placed your hand over his, giving him a encouraging smile.

"Anything."

"Can I stay?"

Alucard's eyes widened for a moment then he smiled, much like he did the night before when you comforted him after his father died. It was a soft smile, a rare one from him. "Why? You won't find much adventure here..." He asked.

"Maybe I'm done looking for adventure? Instead I'm looking for company." You said.

"I'm poor company."

"Not in my eyes, you've always been supportive and helpful... You're amazing company." You explained. "And I stayed... Because I don't want you to be alone, like I was once before." You said.

Alucard lifted his hand to touch your cheek, his thumb brushing over the soft skin. He smiled again, the tears that were once in his eyes now gone.

"You'll stay here, for me?" He asked.

"Of course."

Alucard then stood, bringing you back to your feet with him. "We'll find you a room then... Is your... Dog staying as well?" He asked, his tone a little odd since he was unhappy with Buttons but still happy regarding you.

"Of course he is, I thought we got past this?" You asked.

"Of course, I'm just... Making sure." Alucard said then grabbed your hand. He pulled you around the castle, showing you every nook and cranny. You laughed at his excitement, not used to seeing him express so much emotion.

He stopped at a large room, his expression suddenly changing. He scowled, his gaze focused on a large bed in the middle of the room. The rest of the room was dusty and dark, the curtains closed completely. Alucard walked into the room then opened the curtains, giving you a better view.

"This was my father's and mother's old room... Before she died." Alucard explain. "It's the only one with a bed in it... So I suppose it's yours." He said before wiping a bit of dust off an end table.

"The only bed, you don't need a bed?" You asked.

"I don't really need to sleep." He said.

You frowned but nodded anyway, looking around the room. "This room doesn't seem like the rest... I'm guessing your mother decorated it, she had good taste." You said, making him laugh slightly.

"You know... You don't have to stay here just for me." He said, taking a step forward towards you. Alucard grabbed both your hands in his when he was close enough.

"I want to." You said.

"Then... I'm glad..." He said. "I imagine this is how my father felt when he fell in love with my mother." Alucard said, making your expression turned slightly shocked.

"In love?" You repeated.

"Yes, I understand it now... I love you, {Y/n}." Alucard admitted.

Your grip on his hands tightened slightly and you smiled brightly, making him smile as well. "I love you too..." You said.

Before Alucard could say anything else, you leaned up and placed your lips over his. He relaxed immediately, turning his head slightly after to deepen the kiss. One of his hands would tangle in your hair, his fingers playing with the strands while his other hand held you close. Once the kiss was over, he held you tightly in a hug.

"I haven't been this happy in a long time... Promise me you'll never leave." He mumbled into your hair, holding you tightly.

"I won't, Alucard. I promise." You hummed.
