serin didn't write anything during that test. heck, she didn't even know that it ended when it did.

she was preoccupied with thoughts and questions about her feelings towards minhee.

she scribbled random numbers on each blank and handed it up. the teacher eyes her suspiciously and she smiled nervously.

she ran back to her seat and grabbed her bag.

minhee looked at her, confused. she said nothing and ran out of the classroom.

she looked around and saw a door with a green sign above it, reading "exit".

perfect. that should lead to the rooftop. she thought.

in her previous school, the rooftop was the perfect place to think. all alone.

she ran up the stairs and sure enough, it was a rooftop.

she walked over to the railings and looked across at the buildings.

"what it so going on with me?!" she screamed into the distance.

"I-am-going-to-fail-my-first-test-at-my-new-school-because-of-that-darn-kang-minhee!" she shouted again.

"I'm so confused... " she kicked the ground frustratedly.

"why?"

serin gasped and turned around.
