minhee tightened his fists. he took a deep breath, trying to look away from them.

serin and minkyu were obviously sharing a... moment.

minhee walked away slowly, hands clutching his head.

"does she like him..." he muttered silently.

will she pick minkyu in the end?

at that moment, serin slightly pushed minkyu and bowed swiftly.

"bye minkyu!" she squeaked and ran out of the store.

minhee was solemnly walking out of the store when serin ran past him.

"oh my gosh, what just happened?" she squealed and jumped about.

minhee stared at her, obviously too lovestruck to notice him.

his shoulders dropped even lower when he heard what she said next.

"maybe...i don't actually pick minhee. is that why I have been so confused lately?" she wondered aloud, peering back to take a glance at minkyu.

that was when she saw minhee.

"minhee? why did you come?" she asked, smiling at him.

minhee just sighed and walked off, leaving serin confused.

"could he... have heard me?" she gasped, turning around again to peer at minhee.

"ah...oh no..." she sighed and slapped her forehead.

"he's going to hate me for sure!" she mentally shouted while turning around to walk back to her house again.

serins hand hovered over the doorknob. "but minhee's in there!" she squeaked.

"I'll text hyeongjun...he'll help."

"no..." serin sighed. she planned on just running inside and locking her room without minhee being there to see her.

but of course, she shares a room with him, so if he's in his room, he's in her room too.

"aish!" she stomped her foot softly.

can you get him in the toilet or kitchen or something? just not in the living room or bedroom.

serin sighed and refreshed her messages multiple times until a 'ding' was heard.

serin took a deep breath and turned the doorknob, immediately looking around the room.

"he's not here!" she smiled and rushed into the hallway, where her room was located at the very end of it.

she suddenly stopped when she heard a commotion in the bathroom.

"don't go out yet!" a voice shouted.

"why can't i??" another voice said.

serins heart dropped.

that was hyeongjun's and minhee's voice...

the doorknob turned and serin looked around desperately to hide.

"shoot!" serin hissed.

she quickly ran into her room and ducked under the covers.

minhee stepped out of the toilet and glared at hyeongjun.

"what is wrong with you?" minhee asked.

"uh... no reason?" hyeongjun heaved a sigh of relief when he saw serin nowhere to be seen.

minhee rolled his eyes and stepped into his room.

he immediately noticed a shape under serin's bed.

"what..." he whispered.

serin sensed the presence of a person in the room.

"shit! what a bad hiding spot..." she whispered, racking her brain for a solution.

serin immediately knew that it would be minhee, as she was hiding in their shared room.

inhee walked closer to the bed and pulled the covers off cautiously. "serin?" he widened his eyes.

"hi..." she smiled awkwardly and immediately sat up.

minhee's eyes twinkled with amusement. "what were you doing?"

serin looked around anxiously.

I can't possibly say that I was hiding from him, right?

"I was just feeling cold!" she responded nervously with a smile.

"it's literally noon...the sun is out." he smirked.

"well...i just do, don't question it." she rolled her eyes, trying to hide her embarrassment.

minhee just laughed quietly. I forgot how cute she was, he smiled.

serin looked up at minhee and blushed. ah, he's so handsome...

she suddenly felt guilty for having that moment with minkyu.

didn't I devote my feelings to minhee already?

she rubbed her arm and faked a smile. "I'm going out to the living room." she said, then walked off.

minhee just sighed. "why do you have to be so cold to me?" he whispered to himself.
