It's been a week and I still haven't talked o Jack, it's the longest I've ever gone without talking to him in my life. Johnson's completely shut me out.
Today, I was at lunch by myself, when I saw something strange. Sammy? He came walking over to me. "Hey, look, I'm sorry, for everything."
"Sam, I thought you died."
"No, I just had a concussion." He sits down and looks at me with sorrow in his bruised, swollen eyes. "I hate myself for what I did and I hope we can be friends again. I guess it was the drugs, and I really do like you, a lot. I'm so sorry." He hugs me and walks away. That wasn't weird.
~~~
I went home, and stupid Jack, still lived with me, so o went to talk to him. "I don't want to hear it."
"Excuse me?"
"Just get out of my face."
"Jack?"
"Go!" He points at the door and I ran out of my house. I ran down the street to the pond and sat on the dock.
About half an hour later Sammy came and sat down next to me.
"Hey Allison."
"Hey, Sam."
"What's wrong?"
"Jack."
"I caused this, I'm so, so sorry."
"It's not your fault, he's just being a jerk." I turned to look at him.
And he leaned in, and I stupidly did too.
