When Barry and Iris left santorini, greece where they had been honeymooning for weeks, they had no idea that life had a pleasant surprise in store for them.
A few months after they returned home,Iris suddenly fell ill and had to go to the hospital.
Barry who was very worried insisted on going with her to the hospital.
They were excited to find out that they were having twins.
All through the pregnancy, Barry Allen was a model husband. He took great care of his wife, making sure she was well rested and eating healthy foods.
On the sixth month, Barry and Iris finalized preparation for their latest arrivals.
Benny on the other hand was pretty excited to be a big brother.
After school, he helps his Dad around the house. They worked on the nursery together,painting the walls, fixing the furnitures.
They prepare dinner and help with the laundry.
Benny couldn't wait for the babies to be born.
When the school year ended, he was so happy to spend more time helping his mother around the house.
He helped his Dad prepare breakfast while his mother rested in bed.
They went grocery shopping and bought toys and clothes for the babies.
They all went out for walks every evening and joked and laughed together.
On the day the babies were born, Benny was left with his grandfathers while his parents and his grandmother went to the hospital.
The babies were born healthy and without any complications.
Donovan Henry West-Allen was born December 31st at 11:58pm while his twin sister Dawn Nora West-Allen was born January Ist at 12:00am.
Benny was over the moon when he was allowed to hold the babies while seating by his mother's bedside.
Iris and the babies were discharged two weeks later.
On the babies first night at home, Iris woke up at night to check on them and walked into the nursery to find Barry and Benny by their cribs watching them sleep.
She felt like she was the luckiest woman in the world to have her husband and her eldest son by her side.
She couldn't have asked for a better, more supportive family.
Raising Benjamin, her father was all she had but with the twins, she has her husband, her father, Benny, her father in-law and her mother in-law.
Life could not be better..........
