The darkness of night was highlighting brilliant green eyes of her. Sitting beside the soft illumination of fire, her face glowed vividly. The smile dancing on her lips was heavenly and Archie was losing himself in her calming aura.

She looked beautiful. No, not just beautiful but ethereal. Someone not from this polluted planet. Too pure and mesmerising for this world.

Placing his chin over his fist, he watched her face showing so many of emotions and admired her beaming with pure serenity. A ghost of smile, lifted his lips too and his fiery eyes shone softly.

So many girls he met, but no one gained his attention as much she did. There was a strange aura around, something about her was different, something he couldn't understand but a thread pulling him towards her and he wasn't even able to resist it. Didn't even try to resist.

She was effecting him and he was letting her effect him.

Her eyes moved to his and caught him gazing her. Immediately, Archie sat up straight and looked away. His eyes moved back to her and saw the smile vanished from her face. Her eyes were still stopped at him and he couldn't look away this time.

The voices died and they couldn't look away from each other. A force holding their gazes and an ice freezing their mind from realising their state.

"Let's check around the forest. It ain't for sitting." Amelia said, on noticing two people were kinda lost in each other and needed someone to break their spell.

Ava looked away immediately and pulled the stray hair from her face before passing a smile to Amelia and Ethan. Archie never looked away and his heart surely pained.

Ashley scoffed, sitting beside Archie, but didn't say anything.

"Here, take this, Ava baby." Amelia said passing the tiny chip to Ava across the Ethan who was sitting between her and Ava.

"I'll go with Ethan." Ava said tracing the rough circle of chip, with her gaze turned to Amelia.

"We can get lost" Archie pointed, he didn't like that Ava was going with Ethan and he no more wished to go.

"We'll make group of two and go in opposite direction. One of us will stay back and keep a track on us by this tracking device that is linked to these chip." Amelia explained showing the rectangle tracking device having two red points at a little distance. Her eyes were stopped at Ashley who was acting nonchalant.

Archie grumbled finding there was no way he could object to the idea. The little tigress was too smart for his lame excuses.

"Archie, you coming with me right?" Amelia said while looking at Ashley who was finally getting what was going to happen.

"Of course!" Archie sighed throwing a glance towards Ava who was now whispering something to Ethan probably explaining the working of device. Even though Ethan and he already knows about it, Ethan was still acting interested in Ava's little device.

Jerk, Archie gritted.

Amelia smiled and threw the tracking device towards clueless Ashley who acted on his reflex and caught the device on time. He threw a resentful glare towards Amelia while she smiled slyly.

"At least, a good sportsman!" Amelia remarked with a hint of sarcasm that was surely noticed by Ashley and he reddened with anger.

"So you see, you have no partner and we want someone as lazy as you who can keep track of us on that device. Just to be sure no one is lost and in trouble. Not that it will be needed but it is good to be cautious, you know." Amelia explained sweetly, placing her both fist under her chin. She knew it would hit on his ego and he wouldn't like it even a bit. But infuriating him was another sort of pleasure for her.
