Sitting in the lighted room, Ava watched her device with wide eyes. Her heart was jumping in her chest and she wanted to jump herself too. The euphoric feeling, of accomplishing something great, was finally catching her first time in her life.

Life was never easy to her, she faced things that would still pop up in her nightmares. Things happened to her when she didn't even know the meaning of life. Never able to live her childhood like normal children, she never thought life would soften to her at this stage of adulthood.

But it was happening and she could already feel the desire to dream a beautiful life that she never thought about before.

Clutching the device, she ran out of her room to Amelia room, wanting to share her happiness with her bestfriend.

Empty room brought a frown on her face and her happiness started to evaporate slowly.

Amelia never went anywhere without informing her first. Never in their whole life.

Then why today?

Is she fine?

"Amy?" She called out in a trembling voice, fear that had started to grip her was showing up in her voice.

Happiness never came easily to her, does that mean something was going to ruin her joy this time too?

But why Amelia?

Shivering at her own thoughts that didn't take a second to drift from extreme happiness to darker ideas, she looked around the room, taking slow steps and looking around carefully.

Amelia wasn't in her room.

Her steps fastened and her heart hid in the corner with fear. Searching the whole suite, Ava ended up with Amelia photography device and phone that was supposed to be with Amelia, even if she had went without informing her.

Darting towards door with Amelia's devices clutched in her hands, she halted at doorstep. The locked door sucked away her breath and her heart dropped somewhere in feet.

Anxiety attacked her and horrible thoughts made her mind fuzzy. Her legs wobbled and her sight narrowed. Gasping for breath, she held the doorknob to keep herself from falling.

"No, no, no. Please, no." She whispered while shaking her head. Her throat was dried, strangling her voice and hurting her with every forceful breath she tried to take.

Sucking air, she leaned on door. She had to be normal to find Amelia. Falling weak wasn't option. Amelia needed her and she had to fight against herself for Amelia.

"She'll be fine. I have to find her. I can do this." Ava muttered to herself again and again while keeping her eyes shut closed and taking deep breaths.

Unlocking the door, she stumbled outside the suite and ran to the front door neighbors. The people she knew in the unknown world of Dehradun and the people she knew would help her in finding Amelia.

Slumped on the sofa, Archie was gazing the ceiling with laziness. He was trying to block out his mind for some time but the continuous noises of crockery were driving him mad.

The ringing doorbell frustrated him further and he threw the pillow on the table before him.

"Archie, check on the door." Ethan called from the kitchen while setting up breakfast table for them.

"Wonderful" Archie grunted

Suppressing the urge to lash out at Ethan for disturbing his life and disturbing his moment, he stood up and opened the door with a sulking face.
