COLBYS POV

i had been downstairs on the couch for about half a hour. not being able to sleep. well, it was like 6am nearly 7am and i wanted to get at least some sleep. another long five minutes passed and i heard someone coming down the stairs. at first i thought it was aaron heading to the gym early so i just passed it off. the footsteps came closer to me and they stopped.

"colby" i heard a faint voice say

"yeah" i said rolling over revealing who it was. yn.

"i cant sleep" she said

"come here" i said opening my arms for her to lay down with me

"you sure? because i dont want it to be awkward and wouldnt it be weird?" i am guessing she has never slept with a guy. not in that way though.

"it will only be weird if you make it weird" i said 

"ok" she said and moved closer to me so she could lay down

no going to lie, this didnt feel awkward at all. it felt like this was something that was always meant to happen. you get me? she laid down facing me and we just stared at each other for what felt like for ever. i had the urge to kiss her but i knew that it was something i shouldnt do. even though that i kissed her head earlier, i only did that because she was sleeping and didnt know i did that. i pushed through and finally said,

"lets get some sleep and we will talk about all this in the morning"

"well, its morning but yeah. goodnight colby"

"goodnight yn" 

she closed her eyes and not long after, she went to sleep. i could tell that she was sleeping because her face relaxed and her breathing because more steadied. i brought her closer to me and went to sleep myself. this, is something i want forever. me and her.
