She'd heard of the birds of the sky, but she'd never seen them; the sunrise, sunset, flowing rivers, the trees, the stars and the moon, butterflies and flowers.

Her grandmother had told her so many stories about the beauty of nature, but little Lily could only store vague images in her memory; if that were even possible, for she'd only known darkness. But she knew one thing, that they all existed outside.

She hoped to see all of God's wonderful creation someday; even if just once.

Little Lily woke up one morning, and a strange thing happened; she saw a weird vision. Blinking a couple times, her surroundings were becoming more vivid.

Her grandmother walked into her room to dress her up for the day like she always does. And then she paused, noticing something so unusual, her granddaughter could see! Overwhelmed and in shock, she called it a miracle.

"What would you like to do today?" She asked little Lily with teary eyes.

"I want to go outside," little Lily replied with the brightest smile.
