Narrator pov

Ava held Flora to sleep that night

She tried putting the little girl to bed but she wanted to make sure Ava was safe from her brother

Flora was in fact terrified of her brother

The poor girl didn't think she could have even hug him anymore

"Please Ava, stay, I'm scared" Flora said and Ava couldn't say no, it was going to make the little girl cry again

"Ok, I'll read you a bed time story" Ava said while sitting on Flora's bed "yay" Flora said with a soft smile; trying to ignore her headache from crying

The 2 got comfortable in floras bed as Ava made sure she was tucked in bed while Ava laid on top of the covers

"Once upon a time there was a little girl names Ava...she lived in this suburban town, she had a good life...until she got older" Ava started

Flora looked at the older girl; looking at her neck seeing the bruise

She quickly looked away and sighed and laid her head on avas chest as she always does

Ava continued the story while softly braiding the little girls hair

"She met this boy, she loved the way he looked, his looks were capturing, but his harsh words wasnt" Ava said while the little girls eyelids started to get heavy by the minute

"She fell in love with this mean boy, she didn't know how he felt so she acted as nothing happened between the two, she saw a side that she never wanted to see, but she started seeing it everyday" Ava continued

"She has to leave soon, but she doesn't want to because he was still yet capturing, and so was his little sister, Ava started loving his little sister like a little sister, maybe even a daughter..." Ava continued the story while smiling sadly

"She doesn't want to leave this little girl behind no matter what, but she also doesn't want to leave this boy...and she-she doesn't know what to do" Ava said as tears fell down her face

She didn't know how to feel at all

-Now to the present day-

Ava sat on the stairs next to the luggage's while bouncing her right leg up and down repeatedly

She was nervous, but happy

She had mixed emotions that was too hard to take

She wanted Ava to leave with her, she didn't want miles here lonely with ms Grose

But she didn't want miles to ruin her life

She didn't want to leave, but she missed home too much to stay

She wanted to return back to her regular bright purple walls that filled her room

She wanted her tv back, she wanted her normal life back, she couldn't stand being here, but it kind of became her 2nd home

But not in a good way

She bit her nails as Nicole walked past her while going down the stairs

"Ms Grose should be here in a minute, it says her flight landed a hour ago meaning she should be here soon" Nicole said and Ava nodded "wheres flor?" Ava asked "in her room being moody" Nicole said and Ava sighed "I'll be right back" Ava said and her big sister nodded

Ava walked upstairs and walked towards the little girls room

She slowly opened her door and saw a body laying under the covers

She sighed and sat at the edge of floras bed

"I'm sorry flor..." Ava said lowly "y-your leaving me" flora cried under her cover and Ava covered her face and sighed deeply not wanting to cry again

Ava slowly pulled the covers off the little girl and sat her on her lap

"Flora, listen..." Ava started as flora cried "I promise, I'll be back for you" she said and flora shook her head and Ava moved floras hair that was sticking to her wet face

"Flora, I promise...just give me a few months, I'll buy a house with nic-and I'll come straight back for you, you can live with us" Ava told the young girl even if she didn't think that it was possible

Flora nodded not knowing how to respond due to her crying

Hours later ms Grose didn't show up

The girls remained curious

Ava was extremely irritated; her headache from crying about leaving flora and miles was getting to her the longer she stayed, she didn't know how to handle this pain

She didn't even understand why she was crying about miles, he didn't care, in fact he didn't even come out of his room not once today

"I guess we'll just stay until tomorrow" Nicole said and Ava nodded "if that's best" Ava said and Nicole nodded

"It's getting late, I'm very tired, so I'll see you in the morning" Nicole said while sleepily walking back upstairs

Ava followed behind her sister

Ava headed to floras room and opened it

"I'm staying for one night" Ava said and flora got up and ran to the girl "really?" She asked having a soft smile "yes, another girls night?" Ava asked and flora nodded with a smile

The girls laid down; flora falling asleep instantly, Flora staying up and crying about her favorite person leaving today wasn't the best for her little head

It was wrapped in too much pain, and she had to clear it with a perfect sleep

On the other hand Ava eyes were finally getting heavy after an hour

Then they shot back open hearing this sound of a phone ring

The phone went silent and she sighed knowing that she was just about to fall asleep and her sisters phone messed up everything

Soon she was back to stage 3, her eyes getting heavy

But she didn't get sleep

Her sister bursted through the door making Ava groan "what? Why didn't you knock?" Ava snapped "you won't believe the call I just got" Nicole said "what was it?" Ava asked not really caring

"The plane ms grose was on got into a crash, she-she passed away-" Nicole choked out
