it was a hot day in the forest terry and his student were training very hard the student he was training was his own son junior the two clashed but then terry made the biggest regret in his life he accidentally hit a tree then it fell onto junior "NO!!!!" terry shouted worried that he might have just killed his son the branch went straight through junior's neck terry roared and mourned he couldn't forgive himself so with a heavy heart he slowly walked away but before he got any further the ground shook "what is this?" he thought as he turned around to see the tree burning he couldn't believe his eyes junior was alive but this time he was glowing a yellow aura and the ground around him burned his eyes were filled with fire as the newly awakened power within him dissapered terry ran to check on his son "junior?! Are you alright?!" he asked "yes im fine what was that?" junior asked "i dont know but im happy to see you alive" he said walking away with junior to home
PRESENT DAY
he was asleep still wondering what that power that awakened earlier was he was cautious of it since he feared it might hurt his family and everyone he cared about then he started having a nightmare he was fighting valkyrie but this time valkyrie was beating buddy like a ragdoll all over the place then after that he killed mr and mrs p and tiny shiny and don "NO!!!!!" he screamed waking up from his terrible sleep "buddy what's bothering you?" tiny asked "nothing it was just some stupid nightmare you can go back to sleep" he said as he laid down aswell the morning came they did their daily routine but after that mr and mrs p want to talk to buddy in private "buddy" mr p said "yeah dad?" buddy asked "we finally found somebody to train you" he answered "who?" buddy asked "an old friend of ours" his mother said as a tyrannosaurus came out from behind them "buddy meet the king of all dinosaurs" mr p said "t-terry" buddy said overwhelmed at the fact that his own trainer was the king himself "so you're buddy huh? Martin and linda have told me lots about you and im sorry about your birth parents especially your father" he said "wait who are martin and linda?" buddy asked "oh those are our real names sweetie" mrs p said "oh ok then" buddy said "so should we get started? I heard you're a fast learner" terry said "i am and dont worry i wont fail you" buddy said "i know you wont" terry said as he and buddy walked off to the beach they were training how to bite and bash after a few hours terry got a boulder down to the beach "what is that for?" buddy asked "its to show your real physical strenght" he said "how exactly?" buddy asked "here watch this" terry said as he demonstrated how to break it he sprinted then when he got close enough he put one of his feet on the ground then did a charge at point blank range it was quiet for a moment then BOOM! The rock bursted into pieces buddy was surprised at the sight valkyrie may have put a big dent on the cliff but this was way off that it was far from that "now that is your final test but for now lets awaken your hidden power" terry said after another 2 hours training buddy asked terry of how he knew about the ancient power that lived within him "well you see i've seen it before" terry said buddy was shocked "where?" buddy asked "in my son we were training one day he was about 17 right about your age i accidently broke a tree then it fell on him i thought i killed him boy i was wrong he started burning the tree his eyes were glowing with fire his body was emitting so much heat i thought i was going to melt" he explained "but actually" he said before raising his head up to the sky then a breath of fire bursted from his mouth but this fire wasn't yellow it was orange this was way past what buddy felt when he used this to get free from the rock pile "i have it too" terry said "how did you get that?" he asked "simple i went to a volcano" he said smirking "you're joking right?" he asked "does this face look like joking to you?" terry asked "no no i believe you but how did you survive?" he asked "you see every creature has an element that resides in them like for example your sister shiny" terry said "wha? Shiny has this power too?" he asked confused "yes but she doesn't know of it yet there are multiple elements like water nature earth thunder poison ice dark mystic and fighting" he explained "what is the strongest element?" buddy asked "the one element that has been forbidden but now it has been unlocked by me my son and possibly you" he said "what is it then?" buddy asked "the raging power of fire" he said "it was powered by anger it could burn anything in its path without question" he said "the power you obtained was the start the move i just showed you is almost at its fullest" he said "so how will i awaken this?" buddy asked "i dont know but in time it will awaken you just have to be patient" terry said "how did you knew of my fathter?" buddy asked "you see when i was still young at the age of 25 your father was my first student he was cunning and he learned fast like you guess you had more of your father in you than you think" he explained "your father was the most powerful t rex i have trained junior may have unlocked the element of fire but in physical fighting he doesn't do well so he relies heavily on his powers" he said "when your father died i swore i would train his child no matter the cost i would train his child and look where we are right now" he said "was my father alot like me?" he asked "exactly like you in fact you remind me so much of him he loved fighting and doing good but he also cared about his family like you there are alot of different things between you and your father kid but the one thing that never changed was your knowledge" terry said "runs in the family i guess" terry giggled "its getting late you should probably get some sleep" terry said "yeah bye!" he said it was night while everybody was deep asleep buddy wasn't he pushed a boulder towards the beach and then bashed it over and over again but nothing worked until he planted his feet in the sand hard and then charged at slightly higher speeds then he accelerated then BOOM! He broke the boulder just like terry had done earlier
NEXT MORNING
Terry got up early to investigate the noise he heard last night he rushed to the beach only to find his student sleeping on the sand with a bunch of rocks where the boulder once was buddy woke up as he could hear his teacher's stomps "buddy did you do this?" terry said pointing to the rock behind him "yes i did" he answered "then you've past your final test you're ready to fight valkyrie" he said "thank you terry" buddy said

authors notes: yeah so rexy was renamed to terry and i made her a male and by the way i wanted to take a different turn on rexy im not saying that i hate that rexy is female i just wanted to do something different for once with a character i knew since my childhood also his son junior is the t rex from jp3 but in this timeline he survives his encounter from the spinosaurus anyways my "tree of elements" arc is about to get under way so stay tuned for that!

Edit: i edited that the event which awakened junior took place 19 years ago cause if i continued on he would have been as old as his father so i corrected it
