It was morning in troodon town and mr. Conductor had just woken up when gilbert went to his room
"hey kid whats up?" mr. Conductor asked
"yeah um uncle well thurston is at the door he says he's looking for you" gilbert said
"i wonder what he wants" mr. Conductor said as he got out of his bed and walked to the door where thurston troodon was
"alright thurston what now?" mr. Conductor asked
"well you see the dinosaur train isn't getting enough funding for it to be repaired and it will probably be scrapped" thurston said
Mr. Conductor's eyes widened
"WHAT?! I cant believe that they want to scrap the dinosaur train its been in the business since the beginning" mr. Conductor
"but" thurston said
"huh?" mr. Conductor asked
"they have allowed me to place a bet" thurston said
Mr. Conductor was confused
"a bet? A bet on what exactly?" mr. Conductor asked
"i placed a bet on whether or not the dinosaur train should be scrapped or repaired" thurston said
"so what do i need to do to win the bet?" mr. Conductor
"you must challenge my dinoball team to a match" thurston said
"you cant be serious" mr. Conductor said
"oh but i am you need to beat my team if you want the dinosaur train to stay intact" thurston said
"but your team has beaten everybody in the last dinoball season how am i going to beat that?" mr. Conductor asked
"i'll let you figure that one out yourself i'll give you 5 days to prepare then we'll see" thurston said as he walked away and mr. Conductor had a shocked face
"uncle you okay? I kinda heard the dinosaur train was going to be scrapped but thurston arranged a bet so you can repair it why are you so shocked?" gilbert asked
"he's gonna use his dinoball team to challenge us" mr. Conductor said
"oh thats why" gilbert said
"yeah and where are we going to get a team? All the others were beaten by his team" mr. Conductor
"hmm im not sure" gilbert said
Mr. Conductor was thinking of what team to choose and then he finally had an idea
"ah ha!" mr. Conductor said
"uh?" gilbert asked
"we'll get your friends i mean most of them are quite fast correct?" mr. Conductor asked
"yeah they are quite fast" gilbert said
"then go get them! But remember we only need 10 players" mr. Conductor said
"im on it" gilbert said as he ran to the station to get on engine 6
"i sure hope i know what im doing here" mr. Conductor thought as engine 6 left the station
MEANWHILE IN PTERANODON TERRACE
Buddy and his team were practicing dinoball on the beach and buddy just scored
"alright thats 10 to 7" buddy said
"man you are good at this" keenan said
"well i mean i have been playing this game since i was 5 it does make sense" buddy said
