Josh starts at a new school with his friend Mark, they happen to be in different classes. Josh's class is boring and annoying, but there's one kid who stands out. The emo kid. He doesn't say much, but josh can't get him out of his mind.
I get woken up by my mom. "Joshua honey, dinners ready." My mom says smiling at me. "Okay, I'll be down in a second." I say and yawn. "Alright." She says and leaves my room.
I sit up and look at my phone. I sigh to myself when I see no new notifications. I rub my eyes and get up. Mark is probably having dinner. That's why he hasn't contacted me. I bet that's it.
I walk downstairs and sit at the table. "Hello Joshua, How was school?" My dad asks me as I take some food onto my plate. "It was whatever." I say and take a bite out of a slice of bread. "Did something happen?" My mom asks me. "Nothing extra." I reply and start eating. "Oh alright. How's your class?" My mom asks. "Stupid." I reply. "My class is filled with nice people!" Abbie says. "That's nice honey." My dad says. "My class has a cute guy everyone has a crush on although I see nothing special in him." Ash says. "Kinda like my class then." I reply. "All the girls are after this quiet emo kid who sleeps in class, I don't understand what they see in him." I continue. "Well, you are straight.. aren't you? So maybe that's a reason." Abbie says. "Of course I'm straight! God why does everyone think I'm gay?!" I say pissed off. "Joshua!" My dad yells at me. "Into your room. NOW!" My dad says pointing at the stairs.
I get up and sigh, I walk up the stairs and go into my room. I close the door and lay on my bed. I grab my phone and open Snapchat. Mark has sent me a picture of him hanging out with Brad and Brendon. They're at McDonald's. He captioned it 'with the homies' it's pissing me off. I simply replied with this:

I open Instagram to see if Tyler saw my message. I open the chat and can see that he's typing.

Maybe I should send him a picture... I don't know, I just want him to know what I look like.
