So I was late because I was having car troubles and I had to find another way to get to work. They didn't mind because I told them ahead of time and it was only going to be half an hour so it wasn't going to be that big of a deal.
I came knowing I only needed a few items for my cart. A couple of sets of queen sheets that I could not get the night before and that was it. Or so I thought...
I made it to my floor to grab my cart and find that nearly all my sheets were gone and the bottle I used to clean the bathroom was also gone. And now I'm mad, because that half hour I was late to get cleaning now translated to an hour because I needed to bring my cart down to restock it.
Nobody was expecting to see me for a good 2-3 hours at least. When I got down there Gena was just as shocked as I was to need to be restocking because she was there when I said"all I need now are a few queen sets" and brought my cart up for the day.
And so, I was VERY late getting out and cleaning and surprisingly I was able to catch up on time, only because a few of my stays had DND signs up.
But that was not the first time, nope, it happened two other times after that. Thank God with both of those times, I wasn't late for work.
