Point of View: Eddie Vedder

"Tell me what's wrong." I told him.

Chris was just pacing back and forth around the room.

"I'm just trying to figure something out." Chris said.

"Figure what out?"

Chris stopped in front of me. "How could someone do something like that?"

I furrowed my brows at him. "Do what Chris?"

"I can't say."

"Why?"

"You'll get mad."

"No I wont."

Chris put his hands on my shoulders. "Hear me out."

I nodded.

"Someone." He continued. "Is trying to say I cheated on you."

I shook my head. "Why- why would someone say that?"

Chris shrugged. "I dont know!"

"Did you?"

"Did I what?"

"I dont know.. cheat..?"

Chris grabbed at the sides of my face. "No Eddie. Why the fuck would I do that? I love you. Do you really think I'd do that to you?"

I looked down. "I dont know."

"You think I'd cheat on you?!"

"No. No, I meant no."

Chris sat on the couch, then I sat next to him. He put his hands over his face, but I moved them back.

"Are you.. crying?" I asked.

His eyes and nose were turning red.

"I dont want to lose you ed. Dont want you to be mad."

I wrapped my arm around him, and leaned against his shoulder.

"Theres no evidence that you did anything. You dont even know who started the rumor for Gods sake. You said you didnt do it.. so I believe you." I assured him.

"You sure?" He asked.

I kissed the top of his head. "Yes. Let's go to bed."

I put my hand on his back as we walked to the room. We both got in bed. Facing eachother.

I wiped the tears that started to form in his eyes, and he smiled at me.

"I love you Cornell. I trust you. Fuck what they're saying it doesnt mean shit if I dont believe it."

Chris chuckled. "I love you too Vedder."

"Good."

I scooted forward, so we could kiss. It was long, but slow. I could feel the heat and dampness of his cheeks against mine.

I pulled back, and we just stared at eachother.

"I ever tell you why I love your eyes?" I asked.

"No. But i bet you're going to." He joked.

I lightly laughed. "Cause they remind me of the ocean."

Chris smiled at me. "I ever tell you why I like yours?"

"No."

"Because they remind me of my eyes."

We both laughed, then I curled up into his chest. "You're dumb."

Chris rested his chin on the top of my head, and tightly wrapped his arms around me. "So I've been told."
