Even with all the anxiety and pain that came with waiting for a response, Jeno finally had gotten a text back and found himself walking alongside the flower boy, going to a destination that was obvious if you knew them by now.

Jaemin hummed a tune softly while admiring the surroundings. For entering the cold months, it was sure a lovely day outside to be walking with someone you enjoy. The trees swayed slightly in the chilled breeze, and the air wasn't humid at all. He even had his coat wrapped around his waist at the moment, that's how warm it was.

"And we're gonna take over the moon~" Jeno joined in smoothly, his voice matching the tune of the younger's humming, making Jaemin turn his head and smile.

"I'm surprised you know that song."

Jeno nodded and felt his hair fly up at a sudden gust of the breeze, becoming slightly chilled by the air but paying no mind. "Yeah, I can never remember who it's by though."

Jaemin thought for a moment and found it strange. He too had absolutely no idea who sang the song, and it was almost mysterious. He was about to interject, but both of their attentions were caught by something moving across the road. Very slowly, too.

"Oh my god. Why is there a baby bird in the middle of the road?!" Jaemin gasped and ran towards the bird, scaring the daylights out of the poor thing and causing it to run further down the middle of the road.

Jeno ran after it carefully, passing Jaemin who looked like he was terrified for the poor thing.

"Uh... tweet! Tweet, tweet, tweet!" Jeno yelled and the bird stopped in its tracks, turning its little head towards the dark haired boy.

"Yes! That's right, tweet! You got tweet!"

The little bird seemed confused for a moment, but cutely jumped back over to Jeno. Jaemin watched in amazement as somehow his Cinderella boyfriend was communicating with a bird.

Jeno smiled and held his hands open for the bird to hop into, but he was ignored as the bird passed him and started heading for Jaemin.

The younger chuckled at Jeno's disappointed look, now holding his hands out as well. But once again, the bird ignored the help.

Being confused, Jaemin turned around and Jeno walked up beside him, watching the little chick waddle up to a bigger bird that looked like a grown version of itself. It nuzzled it's head in the bigger bird's feathers, causing the two boys watching to coo at the sight.

"He just wanted his mommy," Jeno said dreamily, Jaemin nodded while also entranced by the sight.

A car then appeared over the horizon, catching Jeno's attention who immediately shoved Jaemin's side, his eyes blowing wide. They both ran to the two birds, shoving them slightly so that they were disturbed and walked away from them, heading towards the side of the road.
