"How did you do that?"
"Uh, magic?"
"What?"
-
"How can you see him?"
"Uh magic?"
"Seriously?"

"Excuse me?" Xiaojun asked in an angered tone, furrowing his eyebrows and giving an intense glare to Yangyang.
"L-let me just-"
"No! In no circumstances are you allowed to use Hendery. He isn't an object, he's a person. And a very dangerous one," the older crossed his arms and moved his gaze to everyone else, making shivers go down all their spines at how serious he looked.
Yangyang glanced at Renjun and bit his lip, gesturing his head slightly to the side to signal that he might listen to someone other than Yangyang himself. Renjun got the hint and cleared his throat while standing, grabbing everyone's attention.
"Uh, if I may, we have a very dire situation going on with one of our friends and would literally do anything to help him," Renjun said, inhaling through his nose as he kept his head high. "And if you and Yangyang know of a way to help him, then we'd extremely appreciate it."
Xiaojun narrowed his eyes at the black haired boy, still acting suspicious of them. "Who is it you speak of and what's wrong with them?" he asked and flicked a hair out of his face.
"It's... Jaemin," Xiaojun perked up at this, recognizing the name very well. "He's in the hospital right now, because... well, his power is slowly killing him," Renjun finished, looking down at the floor as he played with the hem of his jacket.
Yangyang and the others looked back and forth between them, waiting for any sign of action to take place. Xiaojun only kept his eyebrows furrowed, turning his head away from Renjun because his next step of action was going to make him feel guilty.
"I'm sorry... you'll have to find another way. We can't help you," the boy said and ruffled his brown hair, then grabbing Yangyang by the wrist. "We'd like you to leave now... and good luck with your friend."
Yangyang looked up to him with a shocked expression, never having expected Xiaojun to become this cold. Yes he's always been on the more standoffish side, but this was next level for him. Everyone else on the other hand looked down defeated, about to stand up and leave, before Renjun lost his crap.
"No! Yangyang said you guys could help! Why suddenly can you not?!" The black haired boy spat in Xiaojun's direction, stomping up to him and grabbing him by the collar. But all that came from the other was an aversion of the eyes, refusing to look Renjun dead on.
"I don't know what Yangyang may have told you, but Hendery cannot help this situation."
Yangyang scowled and walked up to the two and entered their high-tension aura, only to place a hand on Renjun's shoulder which caught his attention. After staring for a few seconds, the orange haired looked to Xiaojun disappointedly. "Let's just go, Renjun. Forget about this."
