The next day came and Jeno was scared to go to lunch, but thankfully the two who have been missing were sitting there and chatting away.

Jaemin welcomes him with a smile and an arm over his shoulders, joining the conversation about something random and useless.

Donghyuck was sitting to his right surprisingly, and the boy gently tapped his shoulder to gain his attention. Jeno stopped talking to the others, turning his head and giving a questioning look to the redhead. "Yeah?"

Donghyuck got right in his ear, inhaling to whisper something. "I talked with Mark yesterday. He said the rumors couldn't be true, he could see it in Jaemin's eyes."

Jeno felt his eyes widened as he snapped his head towards Donghyuck, slipping away from Jaemin for a second.

"You know this for sure?"

Donghyuck gulped and looked away. "For the most part. It's like 98% sure."

Jeno pursed his lips and whispered back, "Maybe I should still talk to Renjun about it. And maybe Jaemin after just to clear the air."

Donghyuck shook his head. "I dunno, just leave it to me and Mark for now. Don't worry, we got your back," the redhead smiled and violently smacked Jeno's back, making him groan and Jaemin pull him away.

"Mind not slapping my Jeno?"

Donghyuck stuck out his tongue at Jaemin, throwing a fry in his dumb protective looking face.

After lunch, Jeno was feeling pretty confident that those rumors were what they are, rumors. Jaemin was being as clingy as ever and Renjun was busy talking to Chenle and Jisung the entire time. There didn't seem to be anything going on with them, so it was mysterious.

Maybe instead of causing a scene, Jeno would just let it go. I mean, he trusts Jaemin enough to know that he wouldn't do something like that. But then again he doesn't really know about the other's past relationships.

But Mark and Donghyuck were apparently on the case, and as long as they were helping him, he didn't see a reason to get worked up just yet.

Shaking his head, Jeno walked into his elective class and sat himself down.

The week went by fast, and the final days of school were arriving and everyone was getting extremely nervous and excited. Nervous because Jeno and his entire friend group were going to perform at the ceremony tomorrow, so it was really hectic. Being Thursday today and also their last chance to practice, they had to make sure everything was spot on for tomorrow.

Jeno was working his ass off along with the others, and it was pretty exhausting, but they had to power through it.

"We should all get drinks after this," Jaemin suggested with a breathless voice.
