I walked into the classroom just on time and find an empty seat next to a timid, Korean black haired girl.
"你好," I politely said as I sat down.
"你好..."
"Nǐ jiào shénme míngzì?" I asked.
"W-Wǒ jiào B-Bai Ying Ai," said Bai Ying Ai.
"That's a pretty name, my name's Li You!" As I finished it off with a smile.
"Xièxiè nǐ," said Bai Ying Ai softly.
I could already see our everlasting friendship blooming.
"Hǎo ba dàjiā, Shàngkèle!"
It was a familiar voice, it was Chang Laoshi! He was now teaching college level Math after teaching at my school "Dàngāo High."
"Dàjiā, Qǐlì," spoke Mr. Chang.
We all said, "Lǎoshī hǎo," and sat down.
The start of this school year wouldn't be as bad as I thought, or so I thought.
