I arrive at school with both my feet facing towards the front gate. I step forward and breathe in, and out, for today is a new day.
I arrive in class and see Bai Ying Ai gazing out the window.
"Hello Unnie!" I shout.
"Oh, 你好 Li You-Ah!" She smiled brightly like Jisoo from Whitepink.
"你好!" I respond.
The teacher arrives in the classroom with his new black uniform and a fresh tie. People believed he was getting married today.
"Alright class, quiet down and open your textbooks," he told us.
"是!" We all replied.
An Hour Later
*Bell rings*
"Bye Unnie!"
"再见!" We both wave at each other and I make my way outside the school. Then I'm stopped in my tracks by 高文中.
"Sup Li You," Gaowen told me.
"Hi," I replied.
"Here's my number, we can discuss plans of our mutual matchmaking service over the phone." He told me as he handed me a piece of paper and waved goodbye.
"Au revoir!" Gaowen told me.
(Au revoir: French for goodbye)
I smiled then walked home.
