Chapter 10

~After MAMA back in Korea~
-Taeyong's POV at the radio station-

We were in the middle of a radio talk show. It was me, Johnny, Mark, Jaehyun, and Haechan with 4 other idols of Iz*One Eunbi, Sakura, Yena and Chaeyeon. Then came a topic where they were talking about relationships or crushes. Mc was asking each of us too.

Mc: Sakura have you been in a relationship with anyone or have a crush on someone at the moment?
Sakura: I haven't been in one, but I do have a crush on someone still even after I confessed to them recently, but was rejected.
Mc: aww that's so sad who would ever reject you?
Sakura: Actually I asked Taeyong out, but he rejected me sadly

I choked on my holy water damn wished it killed me.

Mc: Taeyong! How could you turn down someone so sweet and beautiful.
Taeyong: To be completely honest I wasn't seeing anyone at the time, but when Sakura came up to me by surprise she gave me her number and asked if we could go out sometime, but I simply turned it down because I wasn't interested.
Mc: Have you ever dated anyone?
Taeyong: I don't remember if I have or not, but I'm going to have one soon.
Mc: Are you seeing someone?
Taeyong: Yes kind of We're just talking. Taking it slow you know?
Mc: oooh nice...sorry Sakura.
Sakura: No it's okay I wonder who this lucky girl is!
Mc: Who is this girl?
Johnny: Oooh that's a secret.
Eunbi: You know her?
Mark: All the members know her.
Jaehyun: Very kind and polite.
Yena: She's a keeper.
Chaeyeon: You know her too?
Yena: Nope just saying whatever came to mind.

We all laughed and I notice Sakura is upset, but I don't really care to be honest. I wonder if Seulgi is listening to this.

Mc: I'll see you guys tomorrow in the morning for some more news and just to hang out! Anything you guys would like to say to your fans?
Johnny: Thank you to our fans who voted for us at MAMA we really appreciate it
Eunbi: Us as well, we are really happy you voted for us.
Mc: Anything you'd like to say to your soon to be lover Taeyong?
Mark: He really isn't the type to show affec-
Taeyong: Just know that I miss you dearly.

The room went silent while the MC was talking to end the show. My members were shocked to hear me say something like that.

Yena: So who is the lucky girl?
Taeyong: Huh? Oh you don't know her?
Yena: I'm not stupid sir I know she's an idol.
Taeyong: Okay, but like I'm still not telling you so...
Yena: Who would ever like you honestly?
Taeyong: Multiple people like me surprisingly, but not something I'm proud of. I'm happy people like me nothing more to that.
Yena: Smartass...
Jaehyun: Watch your mouth child.
Eunbi: Exactly. My apologies on behalf of my member we'll be going now.

The girls exited and I hear someone call my name. I go out into the hallway and see Sakura outside.

Sakura: can we talk real quick?
Taeyong: What is it?
Sakura: I really want to be with you, Taeyong.
Taeyong: What part of I'm seeing someone else don't you understand?
Sakura: No you're not! I know you aren't seeing someone else you're just saying that so we can't be together!
Taeyong: And if I was? What makes you think I want to be with you? If you don't believe that I'm seeing someone else that seems like your personal issue.

I was going to leave, but she held me back and hugs me.

Sakura: Please give me a chance...

I didn't say anything, but tried pushing her off she stuck tightly to me like some kind of gorilla glue. Then had the audacity to kiss me! I push her away harshly. Then...

???: Get a room will ya?

We both turn to see Seulgi and her members. She looked upset, but tried hiding it. She was never good at hiding her emotions. No one besides our company know about me and Seulgi. So I tried to not make it obvious.

Taeyong: I'm sorry, but I didn't want this.
Sakura: Wait Taeyong!
Taeyong: Leave me the hell alone for fuck sake!

I go back into the room where my other members are. They noticed I was devastated.

Mark: What's wrong?

I tell them everything and they didn't know what to say besides everything will be okay. After we came back from eating out I stayed home while Johnny went to out to do a vlive with Mark and Jaehyun. I then get a call from Irene.

Call with Irene:

Irene: She didn't want to go to eat with us you better go down there with food and make things right.
Taeyong: I didn't kiss her she came on to me! Please believe me.
Irene: I do believe you even though you guys aren't together yet I still want you to go and tell her that explain. We have your back if she doesn't believe you. We usually don't let anyone in our dorm besides staff and our members, but I'll except this. There's a key on the door frame use that if she won't let you in.
Taeyong: Thank you I'll go now.

I hang up and head down to get some food near by and then head back up to Seulgi's dorm. I knock on the door and Seulgi didn't open the door. She sounded so devastated and sad.

Seulgi: what do you want, Taeyong?
Taeyong: Open the door, Seulgi. You need to eat.
Seulgi: I'm not hungry.
Taeyong: You have no choice, but to open it we need to talk about what happened at the station.
Seulgi: There's nothing to talk about. You played me, you said you weren't going to hurt me and you did exactly that.

My heart sank so I get the key from the top of the door frame where Irene left one for me. I open the door and she seemed shocked that I opened it.

Seulgi: Ho-
Taeyong: Irene left a key for me.

I head in slowly and close the door behind me. She's gonna get IT tonight I don't care anymore. No one is home anyways. I leave the food on the counter and see Seulgi go to her room. Perfect.
