"Jay! Stop!!" (Y/n) shouts with a laugh as her older brother gives her a noggie. "Hahaha! Never!!!" Jay exclaimed. (Y/n) bats him away, and the two siblings were in a fit of giggles with each other.

Jay was (Y/n)' s brother, and the two were practically inseparable. When Jay left to go be a ninja, (Y/n) had practically begged to go with.

She had given him the dreaded.... Puppy dog eyes. Jay could NOT say no to the puppy dog eyes even if he tried.

Of course, (Y/n) only learned from the best, after all, years of watching Jay give Ed and Edna puppy dog eyes pays off when (Y/n) needs it.

(Y/n) of course had went with Jay, and that's how she met her one and only crush. Cole. With his raven black hair and soft eyes, how could she not!

Every time she was around Cole, she felt her heart begin to race. She tried to hide it though, because she didn't know if he returned those feelings.

Little did she know, that today was the day that Cole was planning to ask her out. He had the perfect place to take her, a good outfit, and of course a cake and (F/d)! All he needed was (Y/n).

Cole fixed his hair a bit, nervous about approaching the (H/c) haired girl. He took a deep breath, composed himself, and went over to where (Y/n) was goofing around with Jay.

"Hey (Y/n)" Cole greets. She looks up at him with those bright (E/c) eyes he's fallen for. "Hi Cole!" She responds. Jay raises an eyebrow, picking up on his friends nervousness.

"So, uh, I was wondering" Cole starts, rubbing the back of his neck. "If you would, go out with me?" He asked.

(Y/n)'s eyes widened. When she opened her mouth to respond, Jay smacked his hand over it. "No, way" Jay says, shaking his head. "Not my lil sister"

(Y/n) smacks his hand away from her mouth, giving him an annoyed look. "I can decide for myself, Sparky" (Y/n) tells her older brother.

Jay huffed and crossed his arms. "I would love to Cole" (Y/n) answers. Cole smiles and does an internal Yessss!!!!

"Wait, wait, wait" Jay said, standing in between the two with his hands up. "She's MY little sister, and because of that I have some rules for you MISTER" Jay says, poking a finger on Cole's chest and standing on his tippy toes.

"Jay, you do realize you're not intimidating, right?" (Y/n) informs her brother. Jay ignores her, "First off,  if you hurt her I WILL come after you" Jay starts.

"Second, Absolutely NO kissing. She's too young for that" Jay instructs. "Jay, I'm almost as old as you, just a little bit younger" (Y/n) reminds her brother. "Still to young" Jay decided.

"But Nya's the same age as me and you kiss her" His sister points out with a smug look on her face. Jay opens his mouth to argue, but then seems to think about it. "No kissing on the lips" he decided.

"Third, treat her well" Jay says, he continued to go into a long detailed lecture on what to do and what not to do with his little sister.

Jay was so busy talking that he hadn't noticed his sister coming up behind him, holding a bucket of ice water.

(Y/n) dumps the bucket on him, and Jay let out a surprised scream. "AHH!! COLD!" Jay says, shaking some of the water off of him.

"Come on let's make a run for it!" (Y/n) tells Cole, grabbing his hand before running away. An angry, wet Jay was not too far behind the two.

Y/n looked at the clothes she chose, getting ready to go on the date with Cole. She was still so ecstatic that he had asked her! "Is this ok?" (Y/n) asked.

Jay, who was in her room with her, sat on the bed and looked at the outfit. "Hmm, I suppose" Jay replies. Jay was being the overprotective brother he was and made sure that he approved of the outfit she wore.

She walked out, and Cole looked at her. "Wow" He said, "Nice outfit" he complimented. "Thank you" (Y/n) says with a smile.

"Now remember" Jay starts. He opened his mouth to speak again, but (Y/n) cut him off. "No kissing on the lips, none of the sort. Punch him if he hurts you, blah blah blah" She said, dragging Cole out the door.

They finally reached the restaurant that Cole had wanted to go to. They sat down and looked at the menus. This all looks so good" Cole comments, "Yea it does" (Y/n) agreed as she looked over the menu.

The waiter came by as they were looking, "are you ready to order?" He asked. "Yea" Cole says. They order their food of choice and began to talk.

They were on the silly topic of what animal is the best pet, when (Y/n) spots a familiar pair of blue eyes watching them, majority of the person's face hidden behind a menu.

She looks over, squinting to make sure she wasn't seeing things. The eyes ducked back under the menu, seeming to hide from (Y/n)'s gaze.

She raised an eyebrow, and stood up. "Please excuse me for a moment Cole" she said, walking over to the table where the person was watching.

She tips down the menu to reveal the person's face, and was met by Jay's guilty grin. "H-hey (Y/n), hows the date" Jay says with a chuckle.

"I can take care of myself, I don't need you spying on us" (Y/n) says with an unamused face. Jay grumbled a bit before leaving the restaurant.

She sat back down, apologizing. Together, they both ate the food that had finally arrived.

"Thanks for the (F/d) Cole, it was really good!" (Y/n) says as they stroll down a park. "No problem" Cole says.

The two sit down on a bench under a tree, watching the sunset together. Cole decided to stretch, then wrap an arm around (Y/n)'s shoulder.

She looked up at him. He leans down towards her, slowly. (Y/n) knew what was happening, it was just like the classic kiss scene from the romances he and Nya watches.

Just as their lips nearly touched, a yell from above the two could be heard. As well as the rustling of leaves.

"HEY!! ACK!" Cole looked up, and yelled right before someone landed on top of him. Cole let out an "Oof" as the person hit him.

Both the person and Cole fell off the bench. They landed on the groundwork a heavy thud, and (Y/n) quickly stood up to see if they were alright.

"Jay?!" Cole exclaimed while Jay was rubbing his sore head. "Oh, hehe.. Hi Cole... Hi (Y/n)" Jay says with a nervous laugh.

(Y/n) gives her brother an angry looks, and Jay held up his hands "Hey! In my defense he was fixing to break one of my rules" Jay says, pointing to Cole with a glare.

(Y/n) shook her head, then laughed. "You're too overprotective Jay" she said, Jay crosses his arms at this, "Am not!" He yelled. "Are too" (Y/n) retaliates.

"Whatever, better to be overprotective then not at all" Jay grumbles, before cracking a smile. "I can guess you guys are, SHOCKED to see me then?" He asked.

(Y/n) chuckled, "that was a bad one" Cole tells her brother. "I thought it was good" Jay says as he shrugged.

"I think we should head home" she says. "I think that's a good idea" Cole agrees. "Thanks for the date Cole, I enjoyed it." (Y/n) says. "No problem" Was his reply.

"Sorry my idiot of a brother ruined it" (Y/n) jokes. Jay let put a fake hurt gasp and smacks her arm, "I am not an idiot!" He exclaimed.

With a laugh and a smile, the three headed home. Where Jay proceeded to interrogate (Y/n) to see what happened at the date.
