I find it rather ironic that when you told me to stop feeling regret because it was about her initially. Inevitably it became about your choice, but in the meantime, it resided quite well with the process of a memorial.

Maybe part of it is just who I am. "You shouldn't be pushed to fix someone else's mistakes." That has always been impressionable because is that the honest truth? If someone falls, aren't you obligated to help them get up? I am aware it is not the same circumstance, perhaps that is just the way I view it.

TRUTH: noun, that which is true or in accordance with fact or reality

An interesting word, I sometimes like to imagine that your truth was not what eliminated mine. Unfortunately, the red you slashed against my coat left a stain, one that refuses to be washed away. Then again, how do you wash away something so impressionable?

"I can assure you, Lonnie."

But you couldn't. That wasn't true, and it left me drowning in my own ashes.
