Part 13: The First Workout

Part 1: INTIMIDATE

After the day our teens had faced, the morning of the following day finally came. It was 6:00 a.m. on Saturday and our Double D was in the school gym with Professor Ray. Double D still seemed to be in the dream world but anyone knows that when he takes something seriously, he doesn't back down.

"Hell... I didn't think you'd come! Hey, where's the blue haired girl?" said Mr. Ray, laughing.

"I didn't want to wake her... I just sent her a message..." answered Double D, yawning.

As soon as that sentence was finished, the gym doors slammed open. It was Marie, who said with an irritated look:

"Why didn't you call me?"

"Yaaaw... I just wanted you to rest..." said Double D.

"Okay, I appreciate the gesture but we decided that we do this together, understand?" said Marie, still irritated.

Hearing that conversation, Mr. Ray burst out laughing and said:

"Jesus, ahahahah! You look MARRIED!"

To this response, Double D perceived it as a burst of heat within him, which led him from being assonated to fully awake. Instead, Marie went from being irritated to blushing and thinking about what her marriage to her boyfriend might be. After that, Mr. Ray made Marie sit on one of the gym mats, took Double D with him and brought him near the punching bag.

"So, are you ready to become a real man?" asked Mr. Ray, smiling.

"Ehm... In all honesty, I don't consider becoming a real man based on physical training alone." said Double D.

After hearing his words, Mr. Ray grabbed him affectionately by the shoulders. Continuing to smile, he began to tighten his grip on Double D's shoulders, who began to feel pain. Mr. Ray said:

"Boy, when I ask you a question, you have to answer 'Yes, Sir.' I'VE BEEN CLEAR?"

"Y-Yes, Sir!" answered Double D, frightened.

Seeing the scene, Marie was ready to get up and throw herself against the professor. But Mr. Ray looked as though he had eyes also behind his head. In fact he said, turning to Marie and continuing to smile:

"Don't get too hot, girl. To have a good blade, you have to temper it in the right way."

Soon after, he turned back to Double D and he said:

"Perfect, let's start with the first lesson, that is: Intimidation!"

"What? I thought you would teach me the art of boxing." said Double D, confused.

"Don't contradict me. Everything in its time. Now, let me see your intimidating face." said Mr. Ray.

Double D was still confused by this request but he decided to execute the order anyway, thinking he didn't want to disappoint the professor. Then he began to remember that moment when Pete called Marie a whore (see Chapter 2). At that moment, his gaze seemed to be that of another person, so much so that even Marie could not rest assured in looking at him. But Mr. Ray was not at all intimidated and, almost disappointed, said:

"Mmm, this isn't an intimidating look ... it's the look of a madman!"

Double D was baffled by this claim and felt guilty for not being able to get the result Mr. Ray wanted.

"Let me show you how it's done." said Mr. Ray, trying to reassure him.

Then the professor did nothing but curl his eyebrows from top to bottom. To Double D it seemed a normal look. But, continuing to smile, Mr. Ray said very calmly:
