A/N: Day 2!! Let's all find out about what love is! 

10 Days of Love - Todoroki x Reader

"Love is passion, obsession, someone you can't live without. If you don't start with that, what are you going to end up with?"  

"What is love?" You were surprised when someone like Todoroki asked you that question. As of lately, the boy became more open and you talked a lot but he still wasn't the most emotional guy nor did he seem to care much about emotions.

"Well" you thought about it for a moment, not entirely sure how to answer that question. Although, a small blush creeped on your cheeks when the face of the boy who sat right beside you popped up into your mind when you thought about love.

You softly picked the grass that you sat on, trying to dive not too deep into the thoughts of Todoroki but it was no help. 

You had a crush on the male ever since you first met him and it intensified when the two started to talk and hang out thanks to Izuku who was friends with both of you.

"And how much do you need to love someone to be with that person?" the aloof male added. You looked over at him. Considering his expression, he took this pretty serious.

"Love is... Love is passion" you couldn't help but think about the little moments you and the boy had. Be it the time you were eating ice-cream at the park or training at the U.A.. "Obsession" you added, thinking about all the sleepless nights you thought about the icy-hot male and how he might feel about you. "Someone you can't live without" you remembered the time he, Izuku and Tenya fought Stain. You had heard about it shortly after and immediately you had bolted over to the hospital. The thought of something had happened to Todoroki killed you. "If you don't start with that, what are you going to end up with?" You finished with a small smile playing on your lips while you stared directly into his bi-colored eyes.

Yes, you were sure it was love that you felt for him.

"Someone I can't live without?" Todoroki mumbled thoughtfully. For a moment he seemed unfocused and almost like he was trying to organize his own feelings. You titled your head in confusion, seeing as the boy took your words to heart.

"Are you in love?" It slipped out before you could stop yourself. Not only was that a very personal question, you knew that his answer might crush your heart into millions of pieces.

Todoroki's gaze found yours again. His face was indifferent but somehow his eyes burned with some kind of realization as well as determination. You always found it intriguing how his eyes were so much more expressive than the rest of him.

"I am in love with you" he confessed as if it was no big deal. You were dumbfounded. Your eyes widened and your mouth opened but nothing came out.

"B-but... What?" You choke out after a short pause.

"You said it yourself!" He begun. "Every time I am with you that time spend feels so much more intense. I think about you a lot. When I can't sleep, when in class, when I am training and especially when our class yet again somehow gets in trouble. All I worry about is you because I don't want to risk that you might be ripped out of my life. In conclusion, I am in love. How are you feeling about me?" Only Todoroki was able to make such a passionate confession sound so matter of fact but you weren't complaining.

"I do feel the same" you answered, immediately blushing. After all, this was the first time you confessed to somebody. 

"So you want to be with me as much as I want to be with you?" Your blush deepened at his blunt way to handle the situation. 

"Y-yeah!" You stuttered, watching him scoot closer to you. He only stopped when your shoulders touched. A bit clumsily, the male reached out for your hand and softly intertwined your fingers with his. 

You stared down at your connected hands, liking the way how warm his touch felt as well as the fact that your hands seem to fit perfectly. 

"Is this okay?" Todoroki asked, now blushing a bit himself. Even he was a bit overwhelmed by this since he wasn't used to holding hands with pretty much anyone. A small smile graced your lips as you looked at the half and half boy with utter adoration in your eyes.

"This is perfect" you replied, giving his hand a soft squeeze. His heterochromatic eyes stared right back with just as much affection flashing through them. One of his own smiles appeared.

"I am glad" 

A/N: Please comment and vote~ I don't know if this is a bit out of character but at least in my opinion I can only see two ways Todoroki would confess: Either he is totally blunt about it or he is a total mess because he has no clue what he is even doing.
