Peter was home. He was safe.

It was all supposed to go back to normal! Or at least as normal as it could.

But... It didn't feel better. It hurt.

Peter sat up in his bed. He looked at the clock. 3 am.

So he did what anyone else would do. He say there mindlessly for an hour.

Peter looked at the clock again.

4 am.

Peter had no urge to do anything. He was empty.

5 am.

6 am.

7 am.

"Peter come on, your gonna be late for... You okay there?" Tony asked confused, looking at Peter sitting upright in his bed, staring at nothing.

"Yeah." Peter said.

Peter got dressed, passed on breakfast, and got into the car. He sat in silence as Happy drove. The first time this happened Happy was surprised, but now, he was used to it.

Peter got our of the car.

He went in the school.

First period.

Second period.

Third period.

Lunch.

"Peter, you okay, you seem pretty tired."
Ned asked.

Peter made effort to smile and said, "Star Wars marathon last night." He then went back to his blank empty expression.

Ned nodded, "Nice."

Fourth period.

Fifth period.

"Peter can you answer this one?" The teacher asked.

Peter looked up, "One." He just made a guess.

"That is.... Incorrect. Um it's thirty two." The teacher said, taken aback.

Sixth period.

Peter went home.

He skipped a snack.

He went to his room.

He sat and looked of into space, empty.

"Peter! Dinner!"

Peter got up.

He went to the table.

He ate what Pepper put on his plate.

"Thank you for the meal." Peter said, then went upstairs.

He sat.

7 pm.

8 pm.

"Peter if your done with your homework, we're watching Star Wars!" Tony called up.

"Okay." Peter said down. He didn't move.

9 pm.

10 pm.

11 pm.

12 pm.

Peter felt a tear slip down his face.

When did his days go from, happy and full of events and movement and excitement to... Sitting. With no thoughts. Just sitting.

Staring at that damn blank wall.

Slowly Peter began to cry.

Softly at first. Then harder. And harder.

1 am.

Peter curled into a ball, still crying.

1:30 am.

Peter finally fell asleep.
