Ellison Taylor

I scoffed. "I don't think I want to give a second chance who is pretending that nothing has happened."

"I never pretended that nothing has happened." He said.

"Claire is waiting for me." I said trying to avoid him as I turned around to walk.

"I just want to explain to you." He said. "About what happened."

I turned to look at him and took a deep breath. There's way too many people and I don't want to make a scene here.

"We'll talk about it when we are alone." I scowl.

"That's all I'm asking." He pleaded, he looked vulnerable and helpless for the first time.

"Why didn't you say anything when Brooke showed me the video."

"You ran away.." he said.

"Forget it." I said brushing it off. "We'll talk about it later."

"I'm coming with you."

"Do I have any other choice?"

He looked thoughtful and smiled a little, "I think you had enough time off without me." I rolled my eyes at him but smiled a little, but when I realized my mistake and I quickly put on a straight face.

He seemed seemed like the model that came out from the magazine while I look average? He walked beside me trying to make some conversation. It was difficult not to answer his question when he give me those hopeful looks.

Claire scowled when she saw who was with me. "What are you doing here?"

"I came to talk to Ellison." He said and looked at me.

"For what?" She scoffed. "You did enough."

"I want to explain to her and I want her forgiveness as well. I want a second chance."

Claire looked at me and I just shrugged. "You can go ahead. I can shop on my own." She said and I give her a 'are you sure' look to which she give me a reassuring smile. "You hurt her again, this time I will definitely punch you." She hissed at him with anger. I love her, she always have my back.

"I will keep that in mind." He said and looked at me.

"I actually wanted to purchase something." I said.

"Like what?" He asked.

We were in 'Pandora' I wanted to buy something for Taylor as a farewell gift. She loves pandora, for their charms. While I was looking at bracelets with meaningful charms, Ian walked around the store. The staffs was very attentive to him and was literally drooling over him. I would have did it too,if I didn't know how his personality. I didn't question for who he was buying for but he bought something there.

When we stepped into the parking lot. He handed me the bag and I give him a look.

"What?" I asked.

"For you." He smiled.

"If you think you buying me gifts will make me forgive you. Then you're completely wrong."

His smile fell and he spoke with sadness. "I don't expect you to forgive me just because I bought you something. I wanted to buy you something because I fell like I missed the opportunity to buy you things that you deserve and missed the opportunity of showing my sincerely and love towards you."

"Love?" I laughed. "You show love like that? Then I rather you hate me."

He glared at me. "I can never ever hate you. I know you're still angry with me, but all I'm asking you is to hear me out. Is it that damn difficult?" He snapped.

"Yes." I snapped back. At least, the place was empty. "It's that difficult. I can't even look at you without remembering those taunts from the students or those laughs from them! You won in the stupid game, you were praised while I was humiliated." And a tear fell from my eye. It's been a while since I spoke about that and I didn't like how vulnerable I was at this point. I don't want to cry in front of this person, this person who I thought I hated after that incident, but it seemed like I can't. Something must be definitely wrong with me. His feature softened a bit as he pulled me in for a hug. I tried to resist, but his hold was strong and I cried and cried in that parking space. He decided to drive us somewhere, the ride was silent as we both was drown in our thoughts. He drove us to what seemed like a fair, the parking lot was filled and people was still coming in.

"Why are we here?" I asked.

"I think we need to relax a bit." He said. "Can we forget for a moment about our past and enjoy a little. We will talk about this after we enjoy a little."

"Why can't we talk first?"

"I'm scare we won't be able to spend time like this after the talk." He said, honestly. "Just please, for a little while?"

I get what he was saying and I couldn't help but feel myself wanting to spend sometime with him. After debating with myself, I agreed.

"Let's go." He said as he took off his seat belt and I couldn't help but smile at his excitement and then a thought came to me, was the time spent together before was all a lie? I shake those thoughts away, not now. I said to myself.

Ian bought our tickets, when we entered the place it was magical. The lights was on, even though the sun was just starting to set. I could smell the fresh popcorn and delicious foods in the place. I could hear children's laughter, Feel the excitement in the gaming section and the family's excitements. It's been a while since I came to events like these. It's nothing comparable to social events that I have been to and maybe it's because I'm with someone who I used to like. Ian waited for me patiently as I looked around the dazzling place.

"What would you like to do?" He asked.

"Can we go on that ride?" I asked pointing at the pirate ship. "I haven't been to that ride since as a child." I was excited.

He laughed, "Anything for you." He said as he intertwine our hands together and lead us to the ride.
