Part 7

A week later....

I was swinging through Queens and I already stopped two robberies and arrested some drug dealers tonight, so I was feeling pretty good.

"Karen? Anything happening?" I asked my A.I

"There is a altercation between a man and a young woman in the alley by Charles Avenue"

I quickly swung past the buildings and followed the sound of screaming women, I landed down in the alley and saw a couple guys trying to attack a woman.

"Pick on someone else your own size" I told them before punching them over and over again

I webbed one of their arms and kicked one of them in the stomach. The lady ran away, but when I turned back around I felt a sharp pain in my stomach. I quickly webbed them both to the wall, ignoring the shooting pain in my stomach.

I took their guns and threw them on the ground. I had Karen call the police before I swung out of the alley and onto a roof.

"Peter it would seem you have been shot. Calling your father immediately" Karen said as I held my hand against my stomach

Before I could stop her, I heard my dad's voice in my ear.

"Peter! Are you okay? Your vitals are dropping" Dad yells

"No....get the med bay ready. I'm coming. Karen hang up" I whispered

I got off the roof, and no matter how badly my stomach hurt. I used all my strength and swung back home. The window automatically opened and I swung through and fell inside.

"Bruce help me!"

The sounds started to get quiet and I saw my vision disappearing.

Tony's pov

Bruce, with help from Dr.Cho, took off his suit and immediately got the bullet out. The medical staff signed forms making sure Peter's identity as Spider-Man was protected, so I trusted them. I stood outside the med bay with Pepper waiting until I knew Peter was okay. This kid is going to give me a heart attack one day. I saw Bruce giving him his pain meds, which were made specifically for him.

After a while Peter was stable and sleeping in the hospital bed.

"Tony, he is alright. You know this happens, so don't go blaming yourself. This is something he wants to do and you can't stop him" Pepper told me and I felt her walk past me and over to Peter

I followed her in and took a seat next to her.

"He's lucky. The bullet didn't hit any major organs, and with his super healing, he should be good as new by tomorrow" Bruce told me

"Karen, his A.I told me he got shot saving a woman from getting raped or mugged. The kid is too good for this world. Well it's getting late, and since you have been making me go to more meetings, I have to be up early. So will you stay with Peter until he wakes up?" I asked her

"Yeah. Go to sleep and not down to the lab, I know you stayed there until 3 last night" I rolled my eyes and pressed a kiss to her forehead before moving on to Peter
