Weeks have gone by, and things have started to look up. I have forgiven the avengers, and we were actually becoming family, it helped that we all had dinner together every night.

Summer was starting to end, which meant the museum was being unveiled. Mom has been so busy planning the event, and I was nervous because this will be my first big event.

"Hey Peter! We have a mission to go on, and before you ask, no Spider-Man cannot come. This mission doesn't require your skills. But don't worry, Sam and Natasha are staying here as well" My dad said walking into my room, and I just rolled my eyes

"But dad.... I haven't been on a mission since Germany. When can I come? They don't even need to know who I am under my mask" I whined before falling back on my bed

I was in the middle of scrolling through instagram when he barged in without knocking. I was never allowed to go on missions, it was so unfair. Doesn't require my skills? I have super strength, hearing, and can swing from webs. Every mission should require my skills.

"When I say so. Look....hate to tell you this, but you are not an avenger and you're 14. You still need training and this mission does not require your skills. We don't need flexibility or quick moves. This is all about strength, which you are still working on, that's also why Sam and Nat aren't going. Being an avenger is more than just going on every mission. Sorry kid" I stood up and pulled him in for a hug, I didn't want him feeling bad

"Fine. When will you be back?" I asked him

"Tomorrow night at the latest. Also no patrol, Banner is coming with us. Now be good and go easy on your mom. She is under a lot of stress with the museum opening"

I was about to yell at him. No patrol! That is unfair! What was I supposed to do while they were gone? Then he told me not to stress out mom, and that was the last thing I wanted. So I didn't argue.

"I will"

"Good. I love you kid" He told me pulling me in for one last hug

"I love you too dad"

.....

I was sitting in the living room and flipping though channels. I already spent most of the day in the lab and texting Ned, who was gone all summer on vacation, and so was MJ. Suddenly I heard the elevator. I didn't take my eyes on the television, but something caught my attention. I felt a slight pain in my head, like I had a migraine. I looked around only to see Scarlet Witch? Scarlet Witch!

"Hi! Hello Ms. Scarlet Witch. I had no idea you were here" I stood up from my place on the couch and faced her

She had medium red hair and was wearing a dark red leather jacket, it kinda looked like a dress with black jeans underneath. She has black gloves on and her hair was tied back in a braid. She was really pretty. I felt my cheeks turn warm immediately.

"Hello. You are Peter, Pepper and Tony's son?I'm Wanda" She said quietly as her accent slipped through

"I'm Peter, you're Wanda. I mean you already knew my name, so I didn't have to say my name again....It's nice to meet you. I had no idea you were coming today....well I knew you were coming, I mean they told me you were coming....I just didn't know you were coming now" I told her trying to calm some of my nerves, and I probably sounded like an idiot

"Yes. I wanted to come when they were gone on their mission. I don't really talk to many people and I wanted to get settled in before everyone arrived back"

"Of course"

We stood there staring at each other for a few awkward seconds. I didn't really know what to say to her. She made me nervous, especially with her powers and the fact that she was really pretty.

"So how does one get spider powers?" She asked me, I was completely taken off guard

How did she know I was Spider-Man? No one was supposed to know that! Is it that obvious? Was it my voice that she recognized? Dad was going to kill me!

"How do you know I'm Spider-Man?" I asked her

"I didn't know who you were at first, so I looked inside your mind. I'm sorry, it was just my first instinct. My powers can be out of control sometimes or they start to act up when I don't mean for them too. I'm still learning and trying to work on not using my powers like that. I won't tell anyone if you don't want me too. I can keep your secret"

I may have only just met her, but for some reason, I felt like I could trust her. Besides it was good for someone else to know about me.

"The others don't know about me. They will be upset that I'm 14. The only ones who know are mom, dad, and Bruce...well and you. I'm not ready for the others to find out about me yet" I explained to her, and she nodded her head

"If it helps...I'm 15. The others don't like that I fight sometimes, so I understand. They don't like me going on many missions"

"Well I'm turning 15 soon, and I'm glad to have another person my age around. Sometimes it gets hard talking to adults because they don't seem to understand teenagers" I walked back over to the couch and sat back down

"I know right. If you ever want to talk....you can talk to me. I already feel more comfortable talking to you than the others" She whispered before taking a seat next to me on the couch

I felt surprisingly comfortable talking to Wanda. She understood me and she understood what it was like to be so young and have these powers. She told me all about her brother and I told her all about my family. I asked about her powers and she told me her story, which was sad for the most part. I told her all about my powers too, which caused her to laugh once I told her I was deathly afraid of spiders.

"So Peter....I was told by Natasha that we have dinner up here on your floor, then we all watch a movie? Does that happen every night?" She asked me

"Yeah. It was hard at first because I was upset with everything that happened to my dad in Germany, but I totally forgive you guys. We are all closer than before, so we like to spend evenings together. Do you want to join us? I know you like to be alone" I explained to her before standing back up

"Of course, but only if we can watch those Star Wars movies tonight. Baby Yoda is so cute, and I would love to see the him when he is older" (Yes, I am aware the Mandalorian was not out yet. But for this story, yes it was)

"We could definitely do that. Everyone else hates those movies....so it will be nice to watch with someone who will actually watch it"

"Watch what Peter?" I turned around only to see Mom, Sam, and Nat walking in the living room

"Wanda wants to watch Star Wars, and I think because she is new, she should pick the movie tonight" I told them, and I could see Sam rolling his eyes

"Of course Peter. Hello Wanda, I was going to come see you earlier, but Friday told me that you were with Peter. I hope he showed you around and welcomed you back" Mom said before walking over to me and pressing a kiss to my cheek

"Yes. He was very kind and sweet. I'm glad to have another teenager to talk to" I couldn't help but smile at Wanda, and I loved it when she started to smile back at me

"That's right! Look at that Petey. You have another kid to play with" Sam laughed putting his arm around my shoulder

"You realize that she is probably the most powerful avenger, and it's better talking to her than with you old men" I told him and the others started laughing

"Alright. It's time for dinner. I've ordered pizza, so let's sit down and eat before we start the movie" Mom said calling us in the kitchen

We all ate our pizza and talked about the museum opening and the mission, which they wouldn't tell me anything about. After dinner we all changed into our pajamas and we took a seat on the couches. I laid with mom, while Wanda and Nat were on the other couch. I couldn't help but glance over at her as she watched Star Wars for the first time and smiled.

It seems we have a lot more in common than I thought. This seems like the beginning of a beautiful friendship.
